Mine wasn't one injury, butearly on on fm08, one of first teams I manage, always pool, Steven Gerrard got a broken cheekbone, and was out for one whole month, and then when he makes a comeback against Man Utd, he breaks his leg. Basically *bleep*ed the season up. Whats the worst injury a player on your team has ever had? | |

Probably Aguero breaking his leg. He was out for around 4-5 Months which basically finished off his season. During that time I was playing my regen more often and he was banging in the goals to fill in the gap, and when Aggy came back he struggled to come back into my 4-5-1. I just had to go back to rotation eventually, though

^^ My worst ever injury was actually on 07..
Pavel Srnicek damaged cruciate ligaments and unfortunately, never returned for me after that  He eventually became a physio, which is quite ironic really  | |

Chevanton doing something to crucial ligaments was the worst for me, he was out for ages. On Cm 03/04, my mate bought Figo and Zidane and they both broke their legs in the first week.

Tamas Priskin - Damaged spine, out for 11 months, then another month to get back in game shape. It was seven games into the season too, so I had to wait for the January transfer window to get a replacement.
And this was with Watford, so it was a pretty big deal as he was supposed to be my goal scorer for the season and I was playing a 4-5-1. | |

Leg Breaks and Cruciate Ligament damage are the worst ones. Personally it happened in a Queensland Roar game. I signed some random brazilian attacking midfield for my entire transfer budget and he was going to be the focal point for my team. 20 something mins into his debut in a pre season friendly he does cruciate ligament damage and is out for the season. Brilliant. There goes my entire budget. I came second last that season.

Playing as Fiorentina in 07, I had Toni, Borjinov and Pazzini all injured within the space of 3 weeks, all out for between 10 and 12 months with damaged ligaments.. Screwed over the rest of that season.. thats for sure.

definetly for me either cruciate ligaments or the very rare broken pelvis! torres suffered this out for like a year, never the same when he recovered
