Well since FM09 is now out, the size of this community is going to fall. I thought a nice little thread would be a good community builder.

So who is your current game?

I need to start a new one, I think I might be Sheffield United. I have been them before a few times and had mixed success but it has always been fun. I am ready for it this time to try and go the futhest I have gone by getting promoted and trying to build a solid base, although I have always struggled when getting promoted to the Premiership this is a challenge I am now up for after a few weeks without FM. Wish me luck!!

Spurs 2010, 4th season just the one game in

First season:
Birmingham - 11th (Qualified for uefa cup through fair play draw!)

Second season:
Birmingham - 15th (dreadful season)

Third season:
Spurs - 5th (i took over newly promoted spurs, they were just down for the one season and had most of the best players) also reached fa cup semi

Fourth season:
Spurs - Played one game, away to bolton and lost 1-0 lateish on

The basis of my success with spurs was my away form, playing the beat chelsea tactic

One of my highlights is bringing up Bostock, got him on a free for birmingham from palace at the age of 15, he got the odd cup game (making his debut at 15 i think..) and a few sub apperances in the prem, in his 2 seasons at blues

Then i took him to spurs when i first took over, it cost me 5m for a 17 year old, there were questions but his looked great off the bench and when his started, he rips the lower sides to shreads, also scored a 91st minute winner against chelski!!!

DId the treble last season after a tight extra time 2-1 win over chelsea in F.A Cup and a 2-0 win against Arsenal in E.C.C

I've got a few games goin at the moment...

Bayern (currently loaded)...In December '08...Did the treble in the first season, currently second in the league (4 points behind Werder Bremen), qualified for the first knockout stage of the champions league and still alive in all comps

Ajax...In January 2010...Won the Eredivisie both seasons (with relative ease) and did the double last season. Playing Valencia in the first knockout stage of the UCL and still alive in comps...On top of the league and ahead of second place by about 7 points if i remember correctly.

Atletico - Probably the most funi've ever had with a game...In December 2010 and built Atletico into one of the best clubs in the world...We're also the fourth richest in the world which is pretty good considering the finances you start with. I've won Europe every season (1 UEFA cup and 2 champions leagues) and did the league and champions league double in the 09/10 season. My goal this season is to win every cup (including the minor ones) and so far I'm on track to do so. Can't remember my exact league position, but I think I'm second, about 5 points behind R.Madrid.

I've been alternating between these three games for the last few months.

On my current game i am playing as juventus, trying to get them back to being the dominant force of italian football.

Thought i had acheived this after winning the league in the first season, but have struggled to recapture the form of the team in the 2nd and 3rd season.

09/10 season and currently 5th, sitting 12 points behind leaders ac milan. There is 15 odd games left and my aim is to take 3rd spot, which i am only 3 points away from.
I am also battling it out in the uefa cup and i am hoping to be succesful in that, although it will be a hard task..

My squad is fairly strong, and relatively young. But i think we lack a little bit of experience at times, but i do believe i am on track to taking juve back to the top.

Just started as Scunthorpe United bought Aaron Mclean and Jermaine Beckford and prob a few other players and first game McLean was injured for i had just had my best AML sold to Stoke for £1.3m so wasnt happy or confident but Jon Forte had a blinder and i won 6-1 against Burnley Paterson hat trick Goulon (from Boro) and McCann (2) after going 1-0 down after 10 mins im hoping to have some success in this game as i normally do LLM.

Im also after signing George Boyd and am looking at future signings to build us into a Prem team

burnley 3rd season, won the epl last year,hopefully it would be yet another great season

Was TNS to start with and got into the champions League group stage 3rd season...

Left them for Peterborough United who were in BSP got them promoted to League 2 without any real competition... Left them halfway through the next season for a struggling Yeovil Town and got them within 2 points of the playoffs from being 17th at the end of November...

After this i left and was unemployed for a few months just letting the game take care of it's self and then got approached by Sheffield United in the 6th season who are struggling to get off the bottom of the Championship with a squad average age of 30

right now im playing city, its a good game.

nice young squad, and beaten chelsea 4 times this season, so not bad for the first season
