I don't care for the DLC much. A bit interested in the Makai Wars expansion, but meh. I might buy a character here or there eventually.

Do many DLC characters have large Area of Effect attacks (particularly 3x3 grid damage)?

Ah, as I said in the other thread, it doesn't seem to do anything at current. It is either:

A - A leftover from the JP version, and it just doesn't function here.

B - It is just plain broken.

C - It is something forthcoming (seems unlikely, if it has been there from the get-go).

I believe they are Challenge DLC (related to the aforementioned stuff in the last few posts). It is basically competing to get the best times or whatever.

Supposedly, there are supposed to be possible rewards in the form of characters or something, if you do well enough. Dunno if it requires more future DLC, or if it is already built in.

I haven't researched it.
