I was browsing ebay and found the game for $20 with free shipping and just bought it.

Not a bad deal pepe50. Do you mean Disgaea 3? Yeah, I think that is still full (or nearly full) price now.

Everyone should pick up Disgaea 1 on the PSP or DS. Or failing that, it is now greatest hits on the PS2.

I may have seen a picture or article about Disgaea 1 and was intrigued and spent time looking for the game locally, finally finding it in a local game shop.

I loved it immediately and I am big fan of the series.

I got Disgaea 2 ordered from walmart.com through the mail and like it although not as well as the first.

I haven't played the 3rd game yet.

I hope we see more Disgaea games.

I bought Phantom Brave a few months back and played it but I find I don't like its system as much and have temporarily shelved it.But I intend to pick it up again at some point.

Never played the first two since i didn't had a ps2 and this game didn't get my attention that much but i saw it cheap but it's very fun and worth full price.

Pepe, which model of PS3 do you have? If it is the 60GB, 20GB, or original 80GB, you'll be able to play em (99% sure about the 80GB one at least).

You can get D1 on the PSP (and DS) with extra content, and D2 is also coming to the PSP eventually (Probably DS eventually too).

I have the 80GB with Motorstorm, don't know if i would have time for them right now since i have a long way to go with Disgaea 3

The Electronig Gaming Mothly Brazil has a quite noticeable reviewer who was one of the best brazilian Pokémon players back in 2001. He was one of the first reviewers who would point the flaws of highly acclaimed games. He caused much rage when he gave Final Fantasy X a 5 out of 10.


Anyway, back in 2004 he was the star of the "Name three games you would take to a desert island"

He named Ragnarok, another game that I can't remember and Disgaea. He said that "when the Ragnarok servers take a rest, I'd certainly go to Disgaea. Seriously, the story is lighthearted and when you THINK you finished the game you barely started your struggle to the core of one of, if not THE best SRPGs available. You always have something to do, and you can make any character into a walking chaos god of destruction. Including kung-fu catgirls and exploding penguins."

It wouldn't be until 2005 that I would finally find a copy of the game. There were times in wich the game would stay inside the PS2 for weeks.

Friend let me barrow the 2nd one,then got hooked because I always liked the tactic games.....Now only if we could get Disgaea online

^Ehhhhh, that just wouldn't work. Not if it played like the current one. There would almost certainly be too much disparity in power to have battles be fair.

Though a sort of MMO with creatable characters might work, depending on how they do it.

Meh just think it would be nice have like a 1v1 option to fight other peoples teams

Also, it has the nice exploit where you can buy anything your buddy offers for half off (basically, what the store pays you), except apparently the buddy doesn't lose the item....Would be a quick way to get a bunch of specialists.
