I was just snuffing about looking for a good rpg on ps3 then disgaea came up so I checked it out, and, since I'm a big fan of squear enix I gave it a shot now its like one of my fav games

A salesmen at at trusted gamestore said if I liked Final Fantasy Tactics that Disgaea will blow its doors. I said yeah right and took it home that day. Sucker was right. I've been a Disgaea addict ever since. I's the best tactical Rpg series in the world. Bar NONE!

Last Christmas, I was at the local game store looking to blow my Christmas money. I found both Disgaea 1 and 2 in the used bin for $5 each. I'd heard vague things about the games, and picked them up thinking hey, if I don't like them, they were only $10 altogether.

Worth every penny and more.

I promptly bought Disgaea 3 as soon as I could.
Though I miss the old D1 style.

And Mid-Boss who is my favorite character in the entire series.

I didn't like the changes much, that they made since D1, but D3 was better than D2 IMO at least.

But damn, that was a good deal....D1 PS2 is now $20 or less, being (finally) Greatest Hits, D2 probably costs more than that though.

Off topic but i just have to say that banner is friggin awesome Salteen86. Thing Looks three dimensional. All hale the PRINNIE QUEEN!

Well the right hand side is hard to tell which Etna is actually closer(like the famous caveman picture with the 3D backdrop where it's hard to tell which one is bigger,if your familiar). And panning fom the left gives the effect of her dancing though a strobe.

Now that you mention it, going from one image to the other gives the impression that she is moving around, somehow XD

No, I didn't get the name wrong....Last 1000 times I checked, her name was "Etna" XD Though I heard of translations of her name being "Etona" or something. The background was something I discovered myself actually. Simple enough effect to get, but looks pretty cool, especially when using blending options.

Huh. I thought that pepe was referring to how GR called you Salteen instead of Tallteen.

I had seen friends playing both Disgaea and Phantom Brave when the games first came out five years ago, but didn't get the game until the GH version was released. [sighs] Of course, now I don't have the time to play anymore...

This is what happened to me i was at my cousins house and we got into an extensive conversation about turn based strategy games and this came up it sounded great and i really wanted to play it sadly i didnt get to until a month later when i saw it on a demo disk in a gamestop demo disk thing that was obviously old so i played it and opened a can of whoop a** out on some aqua demons and flora beasts and after that i thought i was gonna have a seizure from how awesome it is but another sad thing is that so far i only have disgaea DS but its still cool i plan to get Disgaea 2 on PS2 or possibly on DS if they decide to make it on that
