But it erases your game? That is bad trade off just for a trophy.

I doubt that is true, it will most likely be like any other game which would that you have to start from scratch.

It does make you're game save useless

If it DOES render your save unloadable, I just won't play Disgaea again....Dammit, I put in over 160 hours into it, I think >_<

So what is so great about a trophy in the first place? Does it unlock something?

For NIS it means more sells since the trophy w***** will go out and buy it to get them but they don't do anything.

Wheres the god damn Euro Release, I brought this game months ago and played it abit but read that Trophies were coming and already out in Japan.

So I thought I would leave it till the trophies come out and then we get this bullshit.

Add to the fact if I had put in hours after hours then it would of always been in vain, think of all the poor people that dont get to see that warning.....

Its like when they added Trophies into GTA4 and I had already put hours into that game, gotton bored and gave up. Found out there were trophies, updated the game but oh no "all previous saves will not have trophies, if you wish to aquire trophies you need to start again from the beginning"

I wasn't gonna do that for a bunch of Trophies....

I think they took the same amount of time to release them in the US as they did in Jpn so i would assume you would have to wait almost the same time.

Trophies are basically Sony's answer to the Achievements on the 360.

Unfortunately, they were kinda slow in implementing them.

New games released from now on, should all have em though.

The game save works and also you can get the trophies with the same game save you already have since i got the defeat eryngi pirates trophy.

Really? So I can use the same save, and still earn trophies?

Hmmmm, hopefully one could still earn all the trophies without having to start a new cycle....I might boot up my game tonight, after turning off the computer....
