Does your weapon proficensy go down when you change guns coz if not im rrrrr >

o-o feel stupid asking this but how dose it go up cuz my friend stopped shooting in split screen i killed something and his proffiecy went up

i think your profiency goes up the same way your EXP does, and like each weapon catergory has its own seperate EXP. so when playing co-op both you and your friend recieve a share of this 'profiency' EXP. dont quote me on that though.

Yeah. You get proficiency even if you're not in combat. If, say, your co-op buddy goes off and starts killin' bad men, you can just be standing there doing nothing and getting proficiency. I know this from personal experience, because once I was just standing there while I ate a sandwich and my co-op bud was wasting people and I went up in Assault Rifle proficiency, since I was holding my Assault Rifle at the time. I have it happen numerous other times as well with my shotgun.
