quote Ryder 187Ok, I just went and registered simply because of the moron that posted this... kudos for you, feel special. Anyone that is an RPG fan and says BoF is crap should be shot point blank with a shotgun. And I do mean BoF 1-4 DQ is a complete joke, and the fact that IGN gave it a gamerscore review of 8.1 is just laughable. What made BoF what is(nothing short of a founding father for turn based RPGs), was the first story of Bof and the fact that you could transform into dragons. As the series progressed Capcom lost track of the Gold mine that BoF could have been, and tried to keep it fresh in each sequel but instead buried the golden ideas, with mounds of trash. DQ is a Prime example of that, and sadly because they lost track of it, the franchise has fallen apart. The creators/producers of BoF have already said they do not expect to create another. And its probably for the best because the BoF we all would like to see would not even get made to our expectations because of capcom's incompetence. All we can do is hope that another publisher picks it up, and renews the legendary game back to what is was.

Yup yup 1-4 are definitely good. Having said that, I did enjoy DQ, though some of the dungeons could could get quite dire.

1) I would like a system with dragons like in BOF 4 Where you can just about come up with anything just by mixing the dragon crystals.
2) I defentally want fishing, Hunting, digging like in the first game, and many more mini games.... i dont know why but mini games are more important to me sometimes then the actual game. 3) I wants a village like in every game since the 2nd. I would like to be able to craft items there and have special quest. 4) I would like there to be tons of side quest and diffrent game options which affect your end game, and maybe if your evil your village would become evil. 5) I would like a live action fighting system. Something where you could tell everyone in the party what role to play becides your main character. 6.) Better Graphics would be a Plus. 7.) I would like the story line to feel alot like a combo between BOF 2,3,and 4.... mostly BOF 3 though... I that was my FAV. I still play it sometimes. 8.) Ryu, Nina have been the only two character that have been in every BOF but i would like some of the old ones to come back. Mabye if you do certin side quest some of them can be unlocked... or at least meet. I would buy this game pretty much no matter what happends becuase im a hard core fan. I mean BOF was my first Rpg ever. It holds a special place in my heart. I just hope they actually make it!!! I mean i would buy a ps3 just to play it expectually if its good!

I played BoF4 first on the PlayStation and loved it (though I never quite ended it, which is why I've bought it again to play on my PS3), I enjoyed BoF3 on my PSP (til I sold the PSP to get an iPod Touch, since BoF was the ONLY game I played), and was quite bored playing BoF1 on an emulator decades after it's original release.
Basically, what I love most from the series is the dual view you get in 4, how you play from two perspectives and those two characters are part of one being (like Piccolo and Kami from DragonBall), and that was something I truly enjoyed. I also liked meeting the dragons, it made me feel so SMALL, despite my characters powers. Combo attacks also rocked. Include all those feelings and ideas, and I would buy a BoF6 on PS3. I never played Dragon Quarter since the gameplay and graphics looked so... well... sh!t. I was well enjoying 4 when DQ came out, and it took a lot of crap reviews and videos to put me off buying it. If they ever make 6, keep it traditional. Dont do a Final Fantasy and fcuk up the combat with real time crap. -------------------

I think this game's engine and dynamics are so sick, I don't want ANYthing changed. I LOVED going back and kicking major @ss when you start over. The story was amazing.
Maybe some better graphics, but I just HOPE and pray that there IS another BOF. I just restarted Dragon Quarter from scratch. It's a lot of work, but you end up with amazing items, and abilities. Not to mention the free EXP glitch you can pull off towards the end. Kick ass
