Oh yeah. When Ryu and the gang go's outside... That's weird eh? I mean it was supposed to be destroyed.

The world probably slowly started to fall apart long after Ryu casted out the Gods, not right away, and since the setting for Dragon Quarter takes place 1000 years after the aftermath, the world started to bloom again duirng that long period of time. That's my theory anyhow.

well what if there was a time warp, like a chaos kinda thing. Where ryu fuses with fou lu then time changes because ryu chose to fight ryu, so then the world came back to order. i don't know the BOF story since i didn't get too far...but i did beat no. 2. i have a story for my comic or manga if you wanna call it that, and it includes this weird thing about dragons and how all the gods were dragons, and people afraid of this fact slayed dragons (the light god is a tiger, but the god of darkness is a dragon, then there is a third god a dragon, to oversee the two and keep them in balance, but sometimes it is nevessary for a 4th god to be forged, of course the 4rth is the only one that is not immortal.) now that you guys kinda made me feel like my theory meant something it kinda made me think, my comic kidna has a link with bof (except that white tiger god) maybe all the gods were dragons, so people would not accept it and feared dragons because they were superior. Mature quickly and live for ages, they are the ultimate. I mean look at origin, he has retained a little dragon power and he live 1000 years! i think ryu is reincarnated every 1000 years. so take the date of bof 5 (i think they have a date...maybe not) and reduce it by a 1000, every time you will get the date of the previous bof. maybe...back to the theory, maybe humans (since i believe they were the only ones commiting genocide) feared what the dragons could become so they slaughtered them, until the point dragons would evolve to look like hjmans, and some even lost their "divine" powers (if you will). Because ryu had a choice to rule everything his eyes could see like it is in his blood (like he deserved, or fight for the humans that killed his type to the point of extinction. So maybe ryu had a little pride for his heritage, and at the same time being raised around humans gotten fond of them. So then the very fabrics of time were changed...

Well. All the Bof's are obviously Linked, I too think Ryu and Nina are rencarnations.

nina windia may i have a picture of hte nina on the far left of your banner? also, perhaps...nevermind i lost it...possibly ryu is revived time and time again (reincarnated) but is himself unstable and need nina to keep him in check...i mean if you really think about it if someone killed nina i think the world would be at it's end. ryu would be in such a blind rage that the there will be no sky to return to in bof 6 or any other bof for that matter. i mean in bof 3 ryu was kinda tamed by friend ship, even when he went rogue in the mines garr came to him and he was once again in his right mind. and in bof 4 he was born with no memory of anything, he could have just as easily become evil, but nina was there...she always was and always will be...(when i say this i do mean to the extent that capcom won't remove any of the two bof veterans form future bof games, i jsut didn't wanna type this in the sentence to ruin the feeling unless i did...)
