From what I have heard and seen, this game plans to revive the popular "run and gun" genre from the 90's from games like, Doom, Wolf 3D, and Duke Nukem'. Although I am a huge fan of Id's recent slow paced, sacry, "Each fire fight is a threat" type of gameplay, this could be a great break from today's FPS. Also, Id is taking their trademark corridors and turning them into large, sprawled out canyons.

I have no idea how Id could ever mess this up. Every single one of Id's games have provivded unlimited entertainment, and amazing graphics, this game will be no exception.

So watch out Halo 3, here comes Rage!
