When I killed a MARV with my 2 stealth tanks, 2 avatars and 3 obelisks, they were all with in range of a disruptor tower and the MARV was attacking an obelisk, so I could repair it, and the stealth tanks were around the back of it, with tib cores upgrade.

thats a good strat..i did something like that in the campaign when u have to face 2 marvs at once...

That's when I did it, though one of the reinforcement MARVs also had 12 upgraded venoms firing at it as well, as I was using them to kill the ZOCOM orca attacks he happened to be where they were.

yea, i had a lotta tanks though..lol, one of the damn MARVs ranked up on me, so it was hard as hell to kill it, but i got the job done...

I used my base defenses + 20 stealth tanks on those... my base defenses normally are to spam obbys and the infantry turrets for ground with AA behind them.

bout the same here.. except i used a mix of vehicles..

scorpions, buggies, stealths, and some venoms too, then i had my base defenses, obelisks and laser turrets mostly...

Mammoth tanks have gone from the most powerful solo unit, to the most powerful spammable unit imo.

No actually, mammoths were spammed in TW before patch 1.05 which the mammoth started getting nerfed. At patch 1.09 mammies were getting totally useless but fortunately now in Kane's Wrath they're doin what they're supposed to do, a slow unit that can handle any vehicle with ease. So they're not very spamable because they'll get owned in numbers as they're too slow and they're very prone targets to vertigos, PACs and basically alot of other air units. Purifiers also beat them even at a cost basis.

The Mammoth will always be the best unit in C&C unless they produse a tank that can deploy an Ion Cannon strike or something. But at least the Mammoth tank can attack both ground and air targets respectfully.

lol. i love mammies as much as the next guy, but i do have to admit that with EAs "balance" attempts, they have robbed the mammoth of what i believe made it truly legendary, but i do suppose it is a little better balanced now, and i will never stop buildin mammies all together, just not as spam anymore...

epic units however, (which is what this thread is about), have vast armour, and in the case of the MARV 4 garrison slots. now, u may think the MARV is trash, but have u ever seen a heroic ranked one? ever tried to kill a heroic ranked one? MARV is the best of the epic units in MY opinion, but i know everyone has there own...

Stealths > Mammies imo, eventhough a Mammy would rip a stealth tank to shreds..

Biased Much? nah, Stealthtanks would be just asgood as Mammies, only they have slightly less firepower, and a great deal less armor in place of stealth technology.

I like the way you highlighted the my... but really try the eradicator more. Put 3 shocks in it, it's the ultimate AA+AV unit, I've destroyed numerous bases using this eradicator plus some corrupter bodygaurds. Try it whenever you feel too much in trouble (your corrupters die and your health is low) you can always use phase shield and run away and bring in more corrupters. Basically it's not really the eradicator itself that's very powerful it's just that the Scrin have so many ways of assisting it where as the MARV hasn't many good support abilities, it's extremely prone to all of tactics, vertigos, juggernauts/behemoths, specters and the scrin just need a half a dozen PACs to destroy the MARV without any casualties.

main thing about the MARV is the instant harvesting, its like a shot in the arm if ur havin even a little money trouble...u can never have too much tiberium reserves
