The patch 1.01 has some good stuff, but a lot of bad stuff in my oponion.
Who would want your Redeemers rage ability to decrease from 20 secs to 3 secs... Wat the! It would be better if it was decreased to 10 seconds or something. And the refineries r 3000 each now, harvesters r 2000 each, shadows r expensive, everything is gone! They might not be to bad but still, y the economy weakener! | |

Come on guys... I want to hear ur opinions. Do u really want the redeemers to stink. And the refinery is going from 2000 credits to 3000 credits. This is wat Apoc might do, he still listening on our opinion.

Post the whole changes list so people actually know what changes have happened, not everyone can download that patch and play right away, some people have real life stuff to do anyway.
And I don't think everyone is incredibly judgemental here, they'll give it a chance for a while before judging whether it's good or bad. ------------------- ![]() | |

Why would apoc come to forum site such as Neoseeker? This forum barely has 5 posts per day. Apoc sometimes goes to EA's official forums and that's just sometimes, he doesn't even see the CNC fan sites much.
About the patch, from what I've read it's actually pretty good. The only bad changes are the redeemer's getting underpowered and cultists becoming to weak, nothing else from what I've read is a bad change. We need more reasonable devastator warships, we need better shatterers, we need a buff for the Titan, we need weaker mechapedes, we need to nerf the purifying flame upgrade and these are what we're getting! ------------------- Nothing currently available. | |

I have been trying to make this forum more active recently, I have placed a lot of posts in the past 2 days, I haven't much before because my internet was broken for AGES.
Anyway, I really don't like the idea of refineries costing 3,000, as they have always cost 2,000 in every C&C game, even the supply centres in Generals, and I'm what you might call a C&C purist for that. Everything else, I don't mind much, all in the interests of balance I suppose. | |

Eco nerf is great. No more eco boom in the beginning. Now all we need is to make this game less spammy and we're all happy.
PS: the supply centres in Generals were 1.500 -------------------

Anyway, the reason the game goes so fast is because harvesters bring in so much more than the 700 per load they used to. I can't remember what it is at the moment, I think it was 2,100 for v1 TW at least. If they wanted to slow it down, reduce the harvester load size, problem solved. | |

I agree that they are making things a whole lot better, its just that the refineries prices r going up. Like the other guy said, every C&C game has had a refinery a 2000 credits.
However, I don't really care about the harvesters. | |

It doesn't matter really. People spam refineries which makes the game unrealistic and spammy. The cost increase will help alot. It'll also mean your money and harvesters are more valuable than before so this forces you to do more micro with your units (the money you spent on).

Maybe, but I would argue that in any other C&C tib game, refineries always cost nearly 3 harvest loads, and as harvesters used to harvest and unload a LOT slower, it made them more valuable. It was more viable to build more harvesters, as they only cost 2 loads (1,400), and, didn't old harvesters used to regenerate to 50% like original mammoths? I think the TS ones did at least. Plus, you always repaired your harvesters because of the investment in them (I did anyway), you can't really do that anymore as it would harm your economy too much.

I am happy with the nearly the whole patch, but they should just leave the economy alone. Plus, they shouldn't reduce
the redeemers rage TOO much. A 3000 credit refinery will just be way to slow in the early game. | |

The worst change has to be the Purifier. Damage went from 750 to 350 or so. I agree that using it against buildings was overpowered. But what does BH have to battle Tripods/mammoths etc now? The laser itself is whack and not the real power of the Purifier anyway.

Nah I don't mind the purifier being nerfed, when right now 2 can defeat 10 behemoths I think it needs to be nerfed. I had a strikeforce once of 2 juggernauts and 4 mammoths and the enemy just sent 2 purifiers... who won? The purifiers.

it all seems well and good to me, i just dont like the nerfed economy, and the war factory & air fields loose thier build radius expansion...first the power plants & barracks, now this, soon ur yard will be all the build radius u have....*sighs*
no matter i guess...as it says, its in the testing stages, so i doubt they'ld go back and change anything now... although i do have to say, tib spikes r far from worth defending now, ill just blow em up if my opponent puts up even a little resistance to my owning it, its just not worth defending now.. -------------------
