Well I guess we are about to be introduced to the antagonist no?
Btw, don't think you can fool us with that "story" about you drawing that comic clueless

Hey, Hoa Dao, thanks
I dunno, Airla´s story was WAY too outlandish to fit into Nadra´s universe (I mean, seriously, zombies riding raptors? But I do like to hide littel funny bits in my pages, so if you´ve read the Silversparrow story, well, you may recognise these two goons: http://www.etherlair.com/gallery/publications////FOLDER_407de0e0a3940/images/IMAGE_43c06536cf6f7.jpg Heya, Estrugaz, great to see you. Yeah, enters Nadra´´s nemesis, Mr. Don´t-have-a-first-name-yet Pendargrave. I do have some ideas floating around of where I think I want this story to go but no, nothing solid til the time comes to actually sit down and draw it. Heck, 3 pages ago I was gonna turn Nadra into an undercover cop and the talk-to-herlsef bit was actually her chatting on the radio with her colleagues...

Yeah, as much as I love her, Nadra´s probably not exactly playing with all her instruments.

Well her powers really remind me off Jackie Estacado's from Darkness.
That villain sure got my attention, simple clothes, stylish as smoking (probably the reason that makes kids smoke), powerful and secure of himself... all that in only one page. Good work.

Ugly guy: "Down boy!"
That made me laugh. Erm... no, I don't pity Nadra for being in pain. I never do. I'm one of those people in favor of protagonist torment. Not too much, though. Have you ever read the Cliff Chronicles? Those are books with illustrations. They have great drawings too, in a different style from yours, but also with plenty of monstrous beings. Your last one sort of reminded me of those, because of their likeness in skintexture. You might find them interesting should you ever run out of inspiration for creepy monsters.

hey, Estrugaz, thanks!
Gladf you liked Mr. Pendargrave, I´m starting to round up some interesting ideas for him myself. First order of business, I gotta find him a first name. Somehow I don´t think it´s Simon... Hi, IceWolfKlaske, thanks! I have to say I´m very fond of torturing my characters from time to time as well... I´ve never read Cliff Chronicles (more of a Michael Crichton kinda guy...) but I do have a good supply of ideas for Nadra´s ghouls. Sorry for being away for so long, time to get back and see what Nadra´s been up to. ![]()

Now that's a bloody nose.
What about Cleo Pendargrave Cleo means scarab in greek Pendargrave reminded me of King Arthur's lineage: Pendragon but joined together with grave which probably means he has any connection with the underworld of the dead no?? I just dislike his haircut and so far, he isn't as badass as Major Evil but I will wait for more before my... hm final "judgement"

Cleo... I dunno, I´m looking for something a little rougher. Dude´s essentially a brawler, so maybe something that would go well in a retired boxeur...
Pendargrave´s goons aren´t going anywhere, they´re frozen in shock after the "splashpage treatment" Nadra gave them. They´ll probably need to wear diapers too... if they ever recover, that is. But yeah, he doesn´t come anywhere near Major Evil. Bel could rewrite the universe. At his very best, Pendargrave can maybe rewrite a street address.

Demonic looking body launch!
And I also like the shading of the face in the second frame. So the lady was police after all, hmm? Erm... names for the bad guy? I agree with you that Cleo doesn't sound good enough. (I always thought Cleo was a girls name) *has no sense of meanings of Egyptic words whatsoever* I suppose Donald doesn't fit either. Cyrano?

Thanks, IceWolfklaske!
Nah, Nadra´s not a cop, she just called 911. Of course this is a comic, so they should be there in a sec. In real life, they´d take the whole evening. Cyrano... Donald... Cleo.. I dunno, I want something butch-sounding like Rocky Balboa or Solomon Grundy
