You may have seen these before, I posted them everywhere when I first drew them. (A little before Halo 2)


This one I did with a mouse. It took about 20 hours to complete.


I spent about 15 hours on this one with a tablet. I never really liked it... but people who see it do.

Anyway, these are my pride and joy pictures. I've never done anything that good since. :/

Maybe I'm nuts or my computer is acting screwy, but there doesn't appear to be a pic or a link in this thread.

Do you have a question about posting your work? Maybe you just haven't gotten around to finishing the post yet, hell IDK.

I needed help when I first posted so I might as well pass it on. The image code is [img]your url here[/img]. You'll need a host site like photobucket to make this work.

When I quote the post I do see img tags, but the images are not showing up for me either.

I just fixed the links.

hmm... well I'm not into Halo or anything, but that is pretty awesome that you did all that with a mouse. I agree with SsG the paint one is alot better. It has alot of interesting texture effects that the second piece simply lacks.

I agree. But they were both done in paint.

One was just with a Wacom Tablet.

Ms paint? Isn't that just a bit kind of a... hmm... obsessive behaviour? They are fine but the effect you achieved could have been reached with probably 1/10 of the time spent if you used a much more advanced image editing software. I must bow down, however, to such high levels of patience.

I was bored, and had a lot of time on my hands. (I was a High School Sophomore... not a whole lot to do.)

Besides, he might not have such access to programs like Photoshop and the like. I know I dont.

I said they are fine which is extremely underrated. They are actually perfect copies of the original art. I was just astonished (as I still am) by the amount of time one can spend one something like that since I'm having graphic design formation and one the golden rules we learn not just for producing flyers and stuff but almost on anything is to first: find out the best way to spare time. It's hard for me to say if you did a good job or not since I am very confused... honestly.
