Sketches are something every artist does, since they're so quick and easy to produce. These could be characters, vehicles, architecture, from real life or straight from your imagination; anything and everything can be quickly jotted down onto paper.

This thread is open for everyone to show their sketches that might not otherwise make it into their threads. Comments are welcome. I hope it will be used to it's full potential

Yep, the point is that the sketches are quick, and therefore not necessarily perfect This thread isn't for complete pieces, if you see what I mean. Think of it as a Neo Sketchbook.
If either of you two, or anyone reading this, has any quick drawings done, we'd love to see them, since it doesn't matter who posts here.

This didn't take me too long to draw out the basic form, though I spent a little more time noodling all the textures in and such.




This is part of my new drawing discipline. Basically the rules for this are:

• One character per day
  
• Only 5 minutes allowed for it

Think of this as speed sketching, and I'd recommend other people try it out. Doesn't matter how good or bad (in this case) it turns out, just that you get the practice for it Anyone is welcome to contribute.

This was a good idea

This was a sketch I didn't finish because I wasn't please with how the body was turning out. It is a griffin with the mix of racoon and owl. (Both night time creatures, hey Im pretty tricky. )

Um, my real answer would be his fist of the raised arm and the Javlin/spear? This is a very nice sketch BTW. It has very good anatomy and figure for being a 5 minute quikie.

Here are some characters that I'm doing for a story. I want to just get some interesting body positions. The first one needs work haha that one is about as bad as by 5 min sketch. :P Also Its so much easier to draw people without clothes. I don't think they need em.

Here are 4 sketches that I did a while back ago. (They are not exactally rough sketchs, but marginally clean.) The first I dunno what it is. And the other 3 are obviously weapons. I like designing swords and daggers and stuff.



Sorry its big and theres quite a bit empty space, but its easier to have them all as 1 big image then little ones. expecially if im just posting it here.

Great work, Alison, especially the hilt of the far right blade. The blade of the lower middle dagger is nice as well. You have a good eye for weapon design.
