its similar to the 1st expet that after you defeat the spirit of the blade that possesed the shogun tokugawa kisuke is sent back to the nigth were he stelas the blade, he choses tos teal it, but not deliver it, instead what he does is to run off with it to calm the demon of the sword and swores to torohime that he will return back for her once he cleanses the sword of rage and evil, and of course he will return the sword.
