There is something in loungin...
Only mods are allowed to have birthday threads because they "earned" it supposedly and all that crap.
But normal members cant, i think its BS....Same goes for the ban list and "moderator's discretion"

Well, I'd like to see birthday threads in lower-traffic forums, it's not like you'd see one or more every single day.

Maybe, (just a thought), the person having the birthday can come up with some crazy, unique rules (within reason) for his/her thread, and they're enforced until the end of the day.

Like, everybody who posts in my thread must:
-Spam up to 20 lines in a single post (have to wait for a reply to spam again)
-Must use font colour 'Pink' for all typing
-Must end their post with 'Signed by dOOfUs'
-At least one post wishing a Happy Birthday is MANDATORY
Just an example

That would put a strain on the server, having rules that allow spam, and strain on teh servor=bad human.

I believe the discussion of hacks and hacked saves should be allowed in the Forum for a few reasons :

1) 'Hacks' in a game can make it fun again once you have completed it.

2) 'Hacks' present a challenge to us and help make a game our own.

3) 'Hacks' are only a bad thing when they are used to ruin other peoples experience of a game, such as stat boosting (which isn't always a terrible thing to do, its only bad when people do it and it ruins online play-ability).

4) 'Hacked Saves' can come in useful for people who want to experiment with a game and use 'Hidden' character skins, such as Naked Snakes camo skin in MPO1, but are unable to because they dont have CFW.

I understand that hacks are severly frowned upon in the MHF2 forums and that may be why you may be inclined to dis-allow us talking about hacks, but this isn't MHF2 and alot of us might just be looking for a little more enjoyment in the game as yes it does get abit monotomous at times and being able to do some crazy stuff in infinity mission may just stop the boredom.

Well i believe there should be some sort of rule against these people becoming a member just to ask for a save file and then leaving, however i believe the circulation of hacked save files is not a bad thing at all. There isn't an awful lot you can do hack wise with MPO+, especially MPO+ EU, and this means that a 'hacked' MPO+ save file isn't necessarily a bad thing since they wont give you any real advantage over other people.

I dont agree with discussing hacks when it gets to the point that it is altering peoples experiences of online play through the use of stat boosting and health hacks. So if hack discussions are allowed here they will need to be heavily monitored.
