I hope the new maps are a bit more complex. Like, multiple different ways to sneak around your enemy and catch them from behind. Not like the Silo Enterance where you have....a giant gaping hole in a wall... Also being able to move while being crouched, to provide more cover and steadier aim without having to stop completely. If some random soldier in the army can do it, I think a team of trained elites can too. ------------------- ![]() ![]() | |

Well, there would more than likely be some advances in the UMD since the release of MPO.

Wouldn't they need to have a new MGS game with some story to it?

Well, considering the entire complex story of the Metal Gear Series, it's pretty obvious that they'd be able to make new games BEFORE MGS4, because that one was the finale of the series.

I'd just be happy with a new MGS game, to be honest. The story and history of the series is rich and interesting, and I love it so.

That's true. The whole comic-book cutscenes were okay, I don't like them too much, but they aren't horrid and can be tolerated. Facial animations are really tough on the PSP, and a lot of PS2>PSP downported games completely remove that feature, save for a simple jaw motion for speech.
In a sequel i'd like prefer to see some pre-rendered video with the animations, which is Metal Gear tradition. They never had to rely on fake cutscenes in the PSX, and only used it on a few occasions to splice Kojima's (crappy) anime footage into Otacon's rants. ------------------- N O T H I N G I S T R U E / E V E R Y T H I N G I S P E R M I T T E D

I would compromise the facial features if it meant for a more in depth game.

To be honest, fake cutscenes for MPO2 sound pretty cool from my point of view.
They'd be other-console quality, but take up little space... I'd like to see more effort put into the combat, and make running out and getting blasted to pieces in multiplayer really really unappealing. The combat from MPO1 and MPO+ online kinda reminds me of that old Nintendo 64 game, Perfect Dark. Which is a stellar multiplayer game, don't get me wrong, but it's not what MPO combat should feel like. -------------------

This game could have been perfect if it had the story mode that MPO had.
Infinity mission mode's not all that bad.. but its such a horrendous bore that will make you think that this game isnt worthwhile. ------------------- It is a fact that hitting hard but inaccurately is worse than hitting accurately but weakly.
