That surely does look interesting, but it doesn't really give us much to go on, does it?

I wonder what worlds will be revisitable, if any, and what the plot is going to be based upon? We know that it's a prequel to Star Ocean: First Departure, but still...

Looks like there might be some sort of war going on (would explain the individual fighter type ships)....perhaps the 'good guys' (main character's side) is trying to find some 'mythical device that is actually real' or something, to turn the tide of the war, or change history, or something >_>

SOIV will probably follow many RPG cliches (not exactly a bad thing, just not that original)...graphics look nice, if nothing else >_>

The end product is always amazing, but their usually vague as anything. The graphics are always nice I for one wouldn't except anything less from Square - Its one of the main reason that they've managed to gather universal acclaim.</sup>

Good to see the Star Ocean theme music is still there. Now if only there was more information and/or less vauge. And what does "New Worlds Await" mean? If this is a prequel then shouldn't all the worlds not be new?

unless... it's not an prequel after all.

Either that or their going the full prequel way and ignoring the fact we might have been to those planets. Or there actually will be new worlds.

I would assume that the term ' New Worlds Await' would mean that there are planets that we haven't experienced before, in any of the other titles.

Obviously the whole game is not going to be based on planets that we have already seen in the other games, however fractions of those planets, or the entiriety of them may be available to visit? Who knows...

So wait. The new Star Ocean is a presquel from the first one?

so they are playing a HOD motive here... we shall see.

Again it doesn't really serve any other purpose than to please the eye, but you get a good look at some of the Ships + the two main characters costumes.

For shame indeed, haha. MGS4 > every other PS3 game.

Anyways, I'm pretty excited for this game. I LOVED Star Ocean 3(the game didn't get as much praise as it should have though).

SO3 really just had a pretty lamed up story and (to be honest) I wish they had a few more original abilities and better endings. I loved the game to death though and can't wait for SO4 to come out.
