I agree with sapphirekat, to take pleasure in watching anything die real or animated is a red light. I hope "Ilovesims" does not have any pets in their real life, are they next after your bored watching Sims die?
I killed a Sim once in Sims2 so I could have a ghost, and I felt creeped out. So I guess my pets are safe. No, I know they are. How about putting down the controller and seeking a therapist!

I count my Sims, pets, and cats on Catz 5 (competely unrelated, I accept that) as real people and animals. And I try to give them lavish lifestyles so none of my Sims has died, my Pets run away and neither have my Catz run away. I believe that to kill a Sim is a down-right sign that you suffer some sort of emotional problem. I used to kill Sims back in Sims 1 to see how many different ways I could kill them, but then I thought "How would I feel if I was animated and someone killed me off?" and realised why I was killing all these Sims, I just needed to stop watching Zone Horror programmes before bed.

First of all why the crap should you care what other people do to there Sims?

Stop criticizing and go get a life.

But some people actually like too and that's none of your business to criticizing them like that.

Okay I think YOU should get a life. I bet your all the same person who sits with there nose prseed agaisnt there monitor constantly killing people just because you have nothing else to do. Plus we're all entitled to our opinions. If we feel we have valid points and we have a keyboard/mouth to say/type of opinions with, then we can say it as long as it isn't murderous/upsetting other people.
I do agree with those who disagree with such killings. I feel I grow attached to Sims and so I refuse to kill them. However for those of you whop do kill animated characters I refrain from wasting my own opinion and I will share it by saying I think you need help.

I remember a while back when I was playing The Sims with a friend on the PS2, he trapped a family in a room and set the place on fire. I can't remember exactly what happened, but I know it didn't really interest me, so I didn't ever try doing that again.
