The cheat gnome will only appear on West Beach. First of all, are you sure you put in the code right?? I'll put in the code and see where it appears. I found it close to the entrance of the little ..... cove would be the best word to describe it. I'm talking about the place where you can harvest Pineapple. Look around the sea edge that is close to the entrance and, if you've put the code in right (R1, L1, DOWN, SQUARE, R2) it should be there. BTW you actually just made me cheat for the first time in this game  | |

Actually, there's a gnome in every part of Castaway, not just there. You'll hear chimes if the code was entered correctly. Remember, you don't need to pause or be in a specific place to activate it.
Another thing, for the cheat gnome to work you not only have to activate it, but must also activate the specific cheat(s). The gnome is small, blue and wears a yellow hat. It's usually on the perimeter of whatever area you're in. Lastly, once you activate the gnome and the cheats, you don't need to again that time you play. If you quit the game, the next time you load you have to enter the codes again. Hope I helped | |
