Alright; I've seen it asked before at least a million times, but I'm gonna ask anyway...

I've played the Sims Castaway game before, and I have had some of my Sims marry... But this is just weird. I have two sims who both won't marry one another. At first I thought it was because of the strong relationships with the other two crew members, so I intentionally had the two sims to be married lower their friendships with the opposite crew members. Nothing happened. After awhile, I got rid of the two alternatives from my tribe and continued tryng to make the two Sims I was trying to marry closer[as if 100 isn't close enough]. I gave them beanies and leis[SP?] and I just give up! Any advice would be useful!!

Oh! And, also, I found Beard Beard's Treasure Chest, and got the pirate outfit... Buuuuut, I was only able to give it to a male and female sim. I tried using the cheat gnome to duplicate the costume but it didn't work. Is there anyway to make another copy for another female and male sim???
Whether you have anyone else in the tribe makes no difference nor does it matter if the two are close to anyone else and also the gender doesn't matter.

As long as you have both Sims wear wedding Leis and wedding Beanies and as long their relationship is high enough and they are in a good mood.

So maybe one of the motive of one or more of the Sims was too low.

I do not cheat, however I suspect that the answer is no. There is only one female Pirate outfit and only one male Pirate outfit and that is that.

Haha! I thought you would be the one to reply to my post; in any case, thanks for the information. As far as the pirate outfit goes, it was kind of a guess but I figured it wouldn't work[unless some glitch miraculously appeared just for me; That would be nice] ~ And as far as the marriage thing goes I did try to bring their motives up but it didn't work[even when they were completely brought up] so I just sort of gave up; I've heard that it could be something to do with their signs[Ex: ScorpioXLeo=NOPE] But I think that may be just a hoax...

Ah, well, Thanks Anyway~♥
Well as far I know the only thing the Astrology sign does is determine how the two Sims would interact on first meeting, whether there would be attraction or not. That doesn't mean that two Sims won't be friends or lovers of they don't have compatiable signs, but it does mean that it will be more work.

I don't know why you couldn' get them to marry, but maybe you could start with a different crew.

Note I like to play with 5 or 6 Sims and this is the number I recommend, but you can play with 2-6 Sims if you wish.

I have a couple FAQs for the game that may help:
