I'm making this a spoiler thread because if people don't want to know how to do it then don't read on.. plus it might give away some game progression.

I found two places where you could get this achievement.. one of them is a bit harder but worth if it you like the challenge.. and that is the one you'll come across first.

Obviously if you've already one the achievement then you don't have to worry about it. I just figured I'd put it up there to give anyone a hand who hasn't done it yet.

The first change you'll get to do it is in stage four when you're going up the Statue of Liberty. As you get up to the second level, right before the Muramasa statue (and before the first fiend lord boss Alexi), there is a random exit leading outsite to a balcony. Here you'll find a bunch of those bat creatures that will spawn and a treasure chest on the right as you come out the door. This is the harder one of the two because they shoot fireballs at you and can take you off your game if you're not careful. All you need to do is equip your shurikens and position yourself by the door and keep firing them off until you reach 100. Enough bats will spawn that you should be able to reach a hundred no problem. The only tricky part is being able to avoid the fireballs as you send off the shurikens.

The second time I've came across it and probably the easiest way to do it is in stage five. When you reach the point where you make the drawbridge to the castle/church fall, you'll jump down into the big open water area (Make sure you use the rope to get across to the chest first). You'll get rushed by those slender/claw enemies gliding across the water (I hate those bastards). They will flank you from the left as you're facing towards the city. Just turn around and use your water projectile weapon to kill them before they get too close. After that, if you swim towards the area where they came from, you'll find a bunch of those underwater enemies that blow up if you get too close. Just position yourself some yards across from them and keep shooting the projectile cannon. You'll hit 100 and then some if you keep nailing them without stopping.


Actually, there is a point earlier in the level where you have another situation like that, right after you get the underwater cannon. There will be those underwater enemies you got to keep shooting down and they will clear the way to the hidden crystal skull. I don't know if hitting all those guys will equate to a hundred, but its worth a try.

Hope this helps anyone who hasn't done it yet.

To me, the easiest way to get this achievement is right after that bone boss battle (forgot chapter, I believe it's 7 or so). There's a gap on your way up, about four skeleton scorpions come from the opposite side. They'll stay in that position for the most part, waiting for you. Whip out your shuriken (projectiles you started with), and throw.

I happened to do this after wasting my arrows and incendiary shuriken on that boss. xD

Chapter 9, green tunnel, Dragon Sword UT, 'nuff said.

I got up to 91 there at most. Then I got hit before I could attack after UT.

Yeah. I got the achievement and 50k essence there, then the boss annoyed me to the point where I shut the system off.

Haha, same. The worm boss you mean, Tenken? That is by far my longest boss battle in this game.

I'm seriously tempted to just sit in one of the rooms and wait for him to come by and shoot him with charged arrows. I'm literally that sick of him.

So much so that since I last fought I went from Chapter 1 to the beginning of Chapter 6 in Warrior(fighting worm on Acolyte).

It's amazing how being a total whore makes the game a bit easier. I counter into the Izuna Drop a lot, and I abuse the DS like no other.

well I used the falcons talons and that made quick work of everything in that part I also got 60k essence I honestly didnt know how to attack him so I stood in the tunnel and then just started attacking took me less then three combos after that.

I'm purposely playing the game at a slower pace.. I made the mistake to not play the first two tests of valor and that pisses me off. I thought you could initiate the tests at anytime.. I didn't know it was one per stage. I'll have to go back and do those again for the achievements.

ok, This may sound like BS, but My highest combo is 346 on chapter 9.

USE THE LUNAR STAFF!!!!! I have gotten 100+ combos fighting regular enemies using that weapon. It is a spam weapon.

And for the worm boss, I used the sythe and didnt stop hitting the worm guy, you do get hurt, but it ends the fight in about 1 minute.

vigoorian flail- especially with the beetles, you can get almost 300 from only 5 or 6 beetles

not sure what chapter it's on but i got it where you get the bow. right outside theres like 3 archers shooting at you. i just killed them all with my shurikens and got around 150 hits would have got more but i messed up on the 3rd one lol.

I got this one easy.The spot right before the silver worm the are the flying creatures and the land ones to,but,you just have use the staff.

i got 100 in Ch.9 green tunnel
UA until u get it (just dont miss)
and dont use the sythe for this one

Vigorian flail + skeleton scorpions = win
