Hmm, then just play how you want to play it, that's the best way to have fun, doing what you feel to do in a game, that you can't do in the outside world. Escape from reality. There's no realy right/wrong way to use these weapons, it's all up to the player.

Good. Alright, what I want you to do is to look at the techniques for the Dragon Sword. Without enemies around, I want you to practice them. See which ones you feel would help you fight crowded enemies.
Also, be sure to learn how to block and counter. If you block and counter a move with like three people in front of you, you'll cut off each of their legs in one swipe (sometimes). Hold down the block button when you're fighting and learn how to time a counter correctly. Best advice I can give. Storm also brings up good points. ------------------- Bleedin' blue and white

Yeah. If you're looking for tips on how to better use the weapons, try out what Darknet suggested. To access your combos, press start and then 'Y' on the weapon of choice. Practice makes perfect, heh.

Right, part of the whole fun for me is just learning how to use the weapons and finding out which combos work well for which situations. Learn each weapon's strengths and weaknesses. It's not fun if you're just told this. Learn for yourself. Experience it. Take time to practice.
Anyone can give you tips but you yourself need to know how to put those tips into use. ------------------- The Pu Man says:

I've found that the Dragon Sword can be useful in a crowded environment like the the Tests of Valors..provided that you block & dodge your butt off. If you're good at evading then while running jump & hit the hard slash button two times quickly to slice through your enemies twice and go for quick finish. Also you can mix up your attacks with the quick charge..jump and hold hard slash just as u land & let'er rip.

Well I have decided that after i get the lunar sfaff not to use the dragon sword untill it becomes the most powerful weapon in the game because thanks to the pile of garbage caled the Dragon sword i had to waste all of my healing items.

If your fighting a group then you want to lean towards a weapon with good speed and fast recovery.
So pretty much what I'm saying is, use the Lunar. quote Storm EagleDepends on different factors. It's best to upgrade the Dragon Sword every chance you get if you want to focus on using it, or make it more useful ------------------- ![]() The Greatest Thrill Comes From The Brink Of Insanity

Dude, you just gotta be good with it. It's a more precision based weapon. I don't like the lunar or most of the other non-sword weapons because they're too messy and they don't have the control I prefer.
Chances are, if you aren't satisfied with it now, you won't be satisfied with it upgraded much further. Level 2 upgrade (which you should at least be at) provides the biggest changes. Level 3 (and 4) just give some specialty and/or add on moves to previously existing move sets. You really shouldn't be having as much trouble as you say you are. I'm halfway through the game on my DS playthrough, and I haven't had any trouble at all. But whatever. If you don't like it, that's your own trouble. ------------------- The Pu Man says:

There is no problem in this game that cannot be solved with the Dragon Sword.
VS the Lunar, it's a matter of preference. The Lunar just might be the second most versatile weapon in the game after the DS, so you won't be in trouble because of choosing one over the other. Besides, it's just for a few chapters, cuz you get them both so early they should both be lv3 real soon.
