ive officially decided this game is rubbish, i cant beat genshin on chapter 2 im doing the block and wind dodge thingy that every site says to do yet he always gets one last hit on me whatever direction i go and if he doesnt and i attack he just blocks me also im playing the warrior mode though it still shouldnt be that hard, i think its just one those old impossible arcade games that make you pump the machine with coins to rip you off and if youve bothered to read all this ill be surprised i dont even know why im still typing:#

You just need to practice. Everyone is like that when they first start playing NG.

Time it. Right before he attacks roll. Roll to the sides, and keep rolling.

It took me a couple times to beat him, I eventually gave in to button mashing while dodging his attacks... It worked....

i was stupid enough to save up for that thing that re births you thats how i did just completed it disappointed at the end tho nt that gud of an endin. I also struggled on the very first boss on ng 1 now that was hard lol

have to hold down block and keep moving around and when he hits counter. also use ninpo to avoid attacks. and try to hit him maybe to times or 3 maybe more if you can but i wouldn't try more then 3 then block again and don't jump around.

See that's what I like about the Ninja Gaiden games. They require a little strategy to play the game. They don't fork over a victory on an extremely easy level or what not. It actually requires the gamers to think up some sort of strategic plan in order to continue on with the game. It really is a fun and rewarding game if you know what to do. But yeah if you can't beat the second chapter boss...then I'd say sell it back and let someone who actually has the patience to play through the game pick it up.

You probably just suck at the game.

actully yea this game is really hard at times and i remember having a lot fo trouble going thru it and just getting to chapter 8 was a total pain...its one of those games that i know when i have my 360 again i will be going thru a lot of smokes and beer trying to get all 1000 achevments points

the first boss in ninja gaiden 1 is annoying on the first try but he gets so easy when u know what to do
with most bosses in ng1 the best thing to do is run up the wall and slash down with Y

ng is one of the hardest games evr!
acolyte mode is the same as hard mode on any other game
i believe the first genshin fight is about survival:
do as much damage as u can by any means necessary and hope u beat him before he beats u

simple use your dodging moves
hold block and direction
ninpo to avoid heavy damage
have lots of herbs/grains if possible
after several times, you'll notice the pattern he has
then it is pretty easy once you find a pattern

Yea I rented it about 2 days ago, and for over a day now i've been stuck on that same boss you're stuck with. I've tried it nearly 30 times and now I realize I just suck at the game and i'm going to return it.

This message applies to both BlinKO and dub zero.


Acolyte is the lowest difficulty ( I think- cant remember off the top of my head). Why don't you play that one? Even if you don't beat it on acolyte, maybe playing for a few chapters will get you good enough to take on Warrior. Oh yeah and that boss is a pain to do. I would suggest just spamming Y of a weapon ( I'm not sure which weapon is better for it, I think I used the moon staff but am not sure) and dodging his attacks as best as you can( It is a safer bet to try to dodge than to block). If you haven't figured this out already, the Inferno spell does not work well against him, and I would advise not using your spells in general for this fight. Try to beat this part instead of returning the game, because once you get past that part the game gets a lot more fun with the new weapons they throw at you.

Just keep practicing, all Ninja Gaiden games have been extremely frustrating. I remember when I first bought Ninja Gaiden for the NES and got to the last boss, only to die when he had 1 block of health left. It's not fair dammit!
