So, how's everyone doing on their NGII runs?

Personally, I've yet to even beat Warrior. Chapter 13 annoys me so much and I got pissed when the Ninja Cinema decided not to save my video of taking on Zedonius in 12..

I have 8 different Acolyte runs going.

Scythe - Start of Ch. 7
DCTF - Middle of Ch. 3
Lunar - Start of Ch. 3
Falcon's Talons - Start of Ch. 3
Vigoorian Flails - Start of Ch. 3
Tonfa - Start of Ch. 3
Kusari-Gama - Start of Ch.3
DS - Middle of Ch. 1

I'll probably start another Warrior profile to actually do the tests of valor..

I just running though the game first, get a feel for it. Then I'm gonna work on the weapons, I tried all Dragon Sword but it didn't work out in Chapter 9.

Quick Question: For those who have beaten Elizabet, you know the GIANT group of Black Spiders that come when you first enter the castle, who actually fought them ALL. I did just for my Lunar's LV3 upgrade.

Warrior - Complete (no rod of trials, though)
Acolyte - Dragon Sword - Complete
Warrior - Kusari-gama - Complete
Warrior - Falcon Talons - Complete
Warrior - Eclipse Scythe - Complete

NS : You mean the famous stairway battle? Who could resist killing them all? Great place for chaining UTs and making a lot of cash.

Tenken : You can get up to 10 ninpo slots by re-using the same new game+ file, so maybe you should do your weapon runs one at a time. Besides, after 2 or 3 acolyte runs, you'll want more of a challenge. I'm keeping a completed Warrior file that lets me start with 7 slots and 2 spirits of the devils.

I'm doing all of my weapon runs on Acolyte for practice. I mainly did separate files so I could actually upload my scores on Acolyte, and then redo them as I up the difficulty to see how much better I am with them.

Update on my files:

Scythe - Start of Chapter 9
DCTF - Statue in Ch. 4
DS- Beginning of Ch. 3

I do want a challenge, but I want to get comfortable with all the weapons first.

Well, Acolyte allows for random experimentation. Even after a few Warrior runs, I'm glad I picked Acolyte for the Tonfa run. I'm on chapter 12 now and i still feel a bit awkward using them.

I might do the Flails run on Acolyte, too, just to make an Acolyte file that starts with 7 ninpo slots and 2 SoDs, but I expect it'll be a total carnage.

Indeed. I'm honestly glad I started my run like this, since I'm getting really good with the dual katanas.

Alexei put me in my place so I had to actually use healing items, but everythign else has been a cake so far.

My Tonfa run is stalled until they fix the Dagra Dai tunnel glitch

I guess I'll work on my Lunar Warrior run.

I might restart my BoA run to make it a DCTF run. The BoA feels overpowered and the electric crackling sound it makes gets a bit annoying.

You could clean your cache, that'll wipe out all of your patches.

Yeah, but then I'll need to re-download the updates for my other games, so I'll just play with my other files and wait for them to fix it.

I was lucky enough to check online before downloading anything, so I still don't have that patch.

I got tired of being stuck on ch 14 and cleared my cache.

I'm on the Daedalus, at the save point next to the Test of Valor. I've been completing all of them so far which is why I'm not making fast progress and this one is quite difficult with those robot dinosaurs.

Just wanted to say i'm loving Ninja Gaiden 2, even more than Black which i adored. Lets hope the series will be resumed by someone else with the same passion as Itagaki. If Tecmo have the rights we should be ok.

I just completed it on acolyte and have now started a game on warrior - it's damn hard.
