Dude, i really want to meet Sora' parents though, there could be a HUGE story with that, but it seems Nomura is avoiding it.

I was expecting his name to be Ignis or something else fire-related. Y'know, to go with the other names.

I really don't think it would happen as vanitas and MX are fighting together and the concept fight (at the end/very end of the game)

Vanitas/Ventus. This is too close. Remember in the trailers where Terra and MX are talking? Terra said "I have a 'friend', Answer me Xehanort, what have you done to his heart?!" Then Ven and MX are talking in the coliseum and Ven said: "Who are you", /then a realization came over him" MX said: Seems that you're losing it. However, you haven't lost it permanently. In order to Obtain it, give it up. Now recover everything..and discover the truth!" fast forward to MX and Ven in the desert area, Ven and Vanitas are fighting. MX says:"Those who submit to darkness are not qualified to wield the keyblade. Already, that man is a monster infused with darkness. Use your power to defeat the darkness and correct my mistake!" (Aqua[assumin] and Ven at destiny islands) Ven:We're friends, therefore, I wanted to ask you something: Erase me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that seems like Ven has had his heart taken away. Here is what I think: Vanitas is the dark part of ven. Xehanort took vens heart and infused it with darkness and made vanitas. He can wield the keyblade because he is part of ven. When Ven was told he hasn't lost his heart permanently, and he could get it back, I think it is by defeating the darkness within his heart. This is all theoritical, and I just wanna say one more thing.

To those who saw the trailer of Vanitas and Ven fighting, with xehanort just watching, who noticed the same positioning in the Days battle? Roxas on the ground, Riku walking up in the same way.

sounds preety good, vanitas being the unvirsed of ven.
also are you talking about xehanort or master xehanort in the second sentance? both make since xehanort was leading the experiments on the darkness inside hearts (that is if MX turns out to be the unvirsed of xehanort which is highly possible at the moment)

thats a good theory the names are very close.
i think MX may have made the DS using ventus in some way because the DS came of of MX in the secret ending and fought for him. just like riku was made by vexen in com this may have been done by MX.
and another thing if anyhone has watched that new trailer TAV are introduced to MX by there master but ven says "who are you" to MX at the colusium. so ven may have lost some memorys when DS was made as he would need vens memorys of MX to serve and be loyal to MX.

thats the beauty of it, either one works.
But who knows, MX may have helped X out with the expariment because he knows about darkness in the heart (linking back to your theory the MX unlocked the darkness in ven).
then one thing lead to another and DIZ was banished and the nobodys/heartless were created

Well I doubt Sora's mother was some big shot keyblade master. She sounds like a regular housewife mom judging from her line in KH1.

She could have laid her keyblade to rest like many heroes in storys do now. Plus, his mom could not have been a keyblade master, but still important part of the story and his dad could be the keyblade master.

I am telling you, there is so much potential for a story involving Sora's parents...

i was juts looking through my kh2 guide and i saw something.

xemnas his picture you can see his boots and they are the same as vantias. then i looked again and saw all the members boots are like that. could just be boots that namouras using or there could be a connection......
maybe.

i think that the keyblade masters got wiped out at some point. i mean come on theres and acadamy for themas we know from the new trailer thread put up by kluck so there has to be a few of them then bam! sora is theonly 1. then mickey riku and the rest take the spot light.

also read what MX says at the end of the trailer posted by kluck at the bottom about the croosings.
