Can you get the Blood of fayal item after Vesplume tower?

Ok in the game story wise i have got to Fayel and found Gustav.
i am using Split Infinity's Guide and it says "When you're ready, come back to the inn and
talk to him to confirm your decision"

But after that it tells you to start the blood of fayal quest and the NINA'S FATHER quest. Not seeing this I told him I was ready and rested in the inn and saved after. Now i cant get the quests done. So I was wondering if you can do these two quests after Vesplume tower or am I going have to get these two items by making another save?
