Hey, I just got this game. I like the look of the crystal beasts but I also like Jaden. Which person would you reccomend?

Also, Is there a storyline to this game? and how do I trigger it? 'Cause nothings happening at the mo.

so far i haven't hit any story... although i have unlocked all the minigames

I started with syrus because i wanted cyber dark dragon.
And i have battled Dark magician girl and the gambler i do not know if this is part off the story

yes that is part of the story jadens good and each time u complete one herat on the trust gauge and ! mark will come up u have to duel the people there

i think what Cyberstein is trying to say is that dueling or getting sandwichs in the shop will eventually get you a "heart". this is how much your partener trusts you. each time you get one a ! will come up on the map. save before each because if you can't win and quit the game you could lose data thatyou didn't save. there are eight heart events ,each special for the page one parteners once you complete these 8 you have completed the game once.

i picked jesse but hes crap im not starting the game again cause im to far into it

You can edit your partner's deck when you fill 4 hearts. It can turn even such crappy players like Chaz or Blair into descent partners. Be warned, you can't remove their "favorite" cards from deck, and all other duelists edit/upgrade their decks in same time.
