I am having prbolems with the Beijing scenario on Airport Inc. I have constructed a two storey prefab terminal and have totaly redone the security areas and stuff.

I was wondering how do I know get passengers? I have constructed a subway, train station and my airport is connected to the road network. I have all the required buildings to hold passengers and have dedicated check in desks to those airlines who demanded them but nothing still no passengers.

Can anyone help me with this?

Hi. For all those with this problem, I had the same thing happen to me, but I finally worked out how to get the passengers in. First of all make sure you have plenty of cash in the bank no less than $25m (its better to be safe than sorry) Also make sure you have set your airport up correctly I.E. runways not too far from terminal, top spec buildings too such as plain maintain #3 or if you have it #4 if you don't have it yet its a big one the front is 23 squares and the depth is 15 squares (23x15) so make sure you leave room for it
once you are happy everything is in place follow the following points...
1. SLOW the game right down
2. SAVE the game
3. LOAD the new saved game
4. SAVE the game again
5. LOAD the game again
6. DEMOLISH ALLplane stands and jet ways
7. DEMOLISH SOME cargo buildings NOT ALL and don't build anything on the area as you will have to replace them at some point
8. CLICK on the contracts button you should see a lot of red from the cancelled contracts
9. click the button at the bottom of the page to delete the cancelled contracts then return to build mode
10. REPLACE ALL your jet ways and plane stands (remember planes go to the jet way / stands in the order you build them sometimes its better not to build in blocks but scatter them use your head and be strategic.
11. speed the game back to max or wherever you feel comfortable
12. BE PREPARED nearly straight away you will be getting contracts flooding in, I have been agreeing contracts non stop for 10 mins finally return to the view of my airport and get another load of contracts.
You may find that you are now running out of space in cargo bays and even in the livestock and cold storage this is where you feel grateful you saved some cash cos it will go quickly now but you will get more contracts and the money will flow in.
