	I got my 360 about a week ago, and after I finished beating Gears of War I was bored so I went to go online. But when I tried to connect it said "Your Account Does Not Have Permissions To Play Online" or something along those lines. I asked my friends, they didn't know. I went to the Xbox live section under my accound and it only said Silver, So I'm just wondering if anybody knows why I didn't get my free month. 	Was that the first time you ever tried playing online before or have you been able to play online with other people before this happened? If it was your first time, then you probably didn't activate the one month thing correctly. Xbox 360's come with three free one-month trial accounts. When you create a new account on your Xbox (not on Xbox.com) you can choose whether you want a Silver or Gold account. If you choose Silver, and your Xbox came with the free gold accounts, then it will ask you if you would like to use one of them. You can't use all three one-month trials on the same account, it has to be three different accounts. ------------------- [ Gamertag ] - Fury Sh0t

	Your free Xbox live SILVER doesnt allow for online gaming. Only allows for downloads. If you go through the same setup of when you setup your account for your free SILVER account it should give you the option to upgrade to GOLD for 1 month. Im currently on my free month -------------------

	To clarify, I had the same issue. If you do not register your Gamertag on your Xbox and register it beforehand on Xbox.com then you will not receive a free month of gold on that account nor will Microsoft attempt to give you the free month on the pre-made account. ------------------- I C'Z U
