Well, since I can not order this game online, and I cant find the Orange Box ANYWHERE out here, I have been watching all kinds of Portal videos, songs and reviews.
One thing that keeps coming up is cake... Is there any kind of signifacance to cake? I know GLaDOS offers it to you near the end of the game, and one of her orb things gives the recipe. it's supposed to be a motive for your player to finish then

One dude said that, Apature science just destroyed a main black mesa base, and were celabrating. glaDOS or whatever, saw the cake on a security cam, but couldn't get it. so she puts you through the coarse to bring it to her. 2 problems with that. one, glados is a computer! duh. second, when you didn't do anything to tell her that you were not gonna get da cake, she STILL thries to kill you in fire pit at 10,000 degrees kelvin or something!!!!! weird.

GLaDOS promises you cake at the end of everything (But you never get it

Oh the irony. It was my Dad's birthday yesterday and I was playing portal, I'd just finished one of the test chambers and my parents gave me some of my Dad's birthday cake (Not realising it was one of the main aspects of the game)

Yeah and saying i just beat the game again anyway i know an easter egg for you guys when your in the pits of the test chamber see those little screens with words on them well it will have the recipe of the cake just like GLaDOS's cake sphere
