Okay, so I downloaded Portal from Steam recently, but I can't even get past the first level. When I go through the Portal from my room to the hallway, the game locks up, then crashes. I don't run anything else while playing it, and I have plenty of free space on my computer, so I don't understand what's going wrong. Please help!!

Have you tried changing the resolution of the screen?
