Naughty3Chia XP->VX custom tileset/autotile creator (yes AUTOTILES!)

I started working on a project earlier to make a VX tileset out of an XP tileset, (currently cant do auto-tiles working on it), i'm willing to make VX tilesets out of XP ones for everyone all i need you to do is: 1.) Post a picture of the XP tileset you want,I cant do the whole tileset currently so just tell me all the items you want from the XP one to be in the VX one. Ill post the one i made below for those of u who want to use it. (Will make a tut on how to do this after work.)



To put into your game, just Save it as the name "TileE" and import it into your game, your "E" slot on your tileset tray will have this in it, est the transparent color to the teal color in the background and make sure you save it as the orignal .PNG format no other format will work.

And yes, i have tested this in VX and it does work,the transparent color being the same as XP's is so you all get that XP feeling when importing it.

Nice work mate but we couldnt really use it in game. You see if we save as TilesetE we would be literally condemning ourselves to usin this one tileset for the entire game. The sprites wont be the right size etc so unless you get autotiles working (which i dont know how they could considering most of the XP tiles arent autotiles to begin with) we couldnt practically use these to make a game.

But i wish you the best of luck anyway mate ^^ id really like to see it work

I have a theory on how to work out auto-tiles but i didnt have the time before work to try it but i have someone over right now so ill update later.

Edit:Theory seems correct from the first few grouns i've done but im continuing my work on all of em til im sure it works,i'll make a neccessary VX accesory tileset out of E, so A will be mostly XP autotiles, but i want change some of the walls (for buildings) but i will change some of the elemtal wall types...EX. Rock,grass and that kinda shit.

First auto-tile set done and basically tested,simple name it "TileA2" and upload it into your game, if you encounter any problems or glitches, or have any requests please feel free to ask me in a PM or in a post here,and if you use any of my work in your game please give me credit.I kept some of the tiles the same because they match up and it wouldnt make sense to change some of those,but if you'd like me to change em please tell me.
