I'll continue making it tomorrow. I really need some sleep for school, lol. I'll keep this stuff in mind when I add to it. I hate linear gaming as much as the next person, but the opening has got to be linear anyway.

The dwarf dude dies? I thought I fixed all them problems. That'll be because I originally just added them to the default troops but deleted all the starter ones (apart from the Slimes) so I'll need to fix that as well.

One thing Mickly, I really don't like it when people use incredibly well known music in their games. I prefer original music even more. Final Fantasy boss themes are a big no-no.

I'm practicing my composing, so I may be able to help once I improve.

That'd be great. It was because I couldn't find anything decent to use. The original ones aren't that great and I lack anything worth using.

The only good music on a game I own - that isn't as well known as it deserves to be - is on an old PS1 RPG that I essentially grew up with. It's called Alundra and it's a classic. I'll see if I can find some of it's better tracks as MP3s by the next upload.

Edit: 5:30?! I really should go to sleep... now. I've added a few things to the beginning - just a few more treasure chests. Nothing drastic. I've changed a bit of the dailogue in Azaroth, and I'll change the music when I can. I've begun work on the next major town and it's going to be very unlinear. Numerous sidequests among otherthings. What the player does may even affect the storyline

So any more things anyones noticed? I've fixed a few things, and arion some of the things you mentioned are in the version you currently have. I'll upload a more recent version in a few hours, and I've replaced the boss music with something else for now.

Right, now I am seriously stuck. How can I make an event so that someone is walking around and when you talk to them, they stop say what they are supposed to and then keep walking? I'm using the Move at Random so that it's like a normal game. Static AI is boring IMO.

New demo available. Basically the original but with a few changes, and a few things added.
I'm adding a chain of optional quests right now. This adds a mass-chain of quests that can be missed with ease unless you are careful.

I'll update the name when the name needs updating. It's still only version 0.1 as I believe only 1% of the game is made in the demo. By the end of the weekend i.e. tomorrow I intend for it to be at 2%. Hell, at the rate I'm working at, it'll be at Version 0.2 by sunrise. It's 4:17am where I live right now btw. I'm adding to the optional quests and I've added a new boss at the end of one of the series'. I should have these updates uploaded by 1pm GMT tomorrow, but no promises.

I downloaded the third.

There are some problems with music - I've only noticed two so far, after the first battle with Seraph the boss music was still playing. I found that out the second time I tried though. When I got beat, I closed it as I didnt realise you weren't supposed to win. The second music problem is after the (probably optional) battle with Azelia. The battle music kept playing after that battle as well. There's also a name problem there - I didn't call her Azelia, but there, she was.
