Alright how do you use the red bumper thingies? I tried it hitting it and jumping on it with the skates the regular board the fly board the bike and I can't launch off it... how do you use it!?

Do you mean those launch pad things?Those are shortcuts. To use them you have to run through one of the box bubble thingies to get the fighter mode (or whatever its called).Its when your runing around on you feet, your going really fast,and if you run into other racers, you punch them! (In your face jet ) If you run into one of the red bumper things while in fighter mode, you will launch of it. Its a real time saver but i barely do it, because fighter mode is not easy to get. ...Are ppl crazy or what? If you've played an original sonic game, the "Red Bumpers" Are called springs that help you gt up steep cliffs. Id Sonic Riders when you run into an item box or bubble you might have a chance of getting what i call a "Power Fist" it is a fist and when you get it you run on your feet, nows your time to run into the springs. You'll be sent flying and might even catch up with the rest of the people. Also the "Power Fist" will give you additional shortcuts, for example, in the Aquatic Capital once you get into this 90 degree turn and a line of boxxes try and get a fist so you can go into the trapped off green thing, you'll jump into a boat and thats the short cut. Try it with things that you can't get through, if it doesn't work then well, it just doesn't.

Yuo need the fist power up. It's the run where you run extremely fast and if you hit someone, you knock them back. if you run into a spring whille having that power up, it works. If your on just a gear, it counts as a wall. You don't thing you can actually hop on a spring with a hoverboard do you?
