re: Story Of Your Season

I'm glad you PM'd me or I might have missed this quality piece of work. That was an exceptional season Vince, being able to match the likes of AC Milan, Roma and Juventus with Fiorentina is superb.

A couple of mistakes I noticed though, nothing big.

My tactic though greatly helped as it was easily to tweak.

I really hope you continue this in the form of a SOMS.

You're doing great, Andy. Nice review also, good layout. An excellent first season, I don't think anyone could achieve that much success with a team outside of the big four.

Why did you sell Banega? You only brought him the season before.

He wasn't performing to the level i wanted, i had the option of selling him for £7.5m and siging Huddlestone for around the same price. Seemed straight forward to me.

Redemption

Bradford City season review

League

Following a bad second season with Newcastle where I made poor signings, ended up in mid-table obscurity and ultimately had my position replaced, I decided to accept a job in League Two with Bradford City in the hopes of redeeming myself and getting back some respectability.

The club's long term expectation was that I make them a major player in League Two after two seasons. To the delight of the board and fans I was able to clinch promotion in my very first season and I did it in style by topping the table and winning the league...

Cup performances

While there was understandable disappointment at my team's shock first round exit at home to Grays in the FA Cup, and the 2-0 defeat in the first round of the League Cup to local rivals Sheffield United, this was lessened by the team's strong performance in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy where I managed to take them to the final where the team bravely went down to a 5-4 defeat to Notts County, a team which were a division above me and which had in fact been leading 5-0 at one point in the game.

Transfers

Without a doubt my dealings in the transfer market were pivotal to the team's successful season. Backed by strong funding from the board I was able to bring in a lot of new faces. Here is my transfer history...

To anyone thinking of making a fight of things in League Two, out of the names above I would strongly recommend Stephen Henderson, whose performances in goal won me lots of points, Tommy Hoiland, who finished the league's top scorer with 34 goals for me and who was instrumental in many of the victories, Damien Plessis, a season-long loan signing from Liverpool whose defensive midfield displays were hugely significant, Andy Hughes, a versatile player who was a total bargain at £8,000 with some great games for me. Elphick, a rock in my defence. Austin and Crainey were cheap full backs who were always solid. Omar Daley had been my left winger and had been sensational for me but I naively let him slip through my fingers since he was out of contract. Luckily Filipe Da Costa was an able replacement and for £35,000 was a massive bargain.

These were the players who stood out from the pack and I would strongly endorse these men to anyone who's looking to mount a serious League Two promotion challenge.

Looking ahead

As for the future, well there is the challenge of League One but there are numerous reports of Premiership clubs interested in my services. One of which is Man Utd who astonishingly have been in a relegation battle in the Premiership. It remains to be seen though whether or not I will leave Bradford.

I am content however with what I managed to accomplish in League Two with the Bantams and I feel that along with securing the title, I also secured a great deal of redemption for myself.

Thanks for reading.

Wow, I'm impressed. That was a fantastically well written season review.

Well done on gaining promotion, I'm interested in seeing how you do further on into your career. Where were Bradford predicted to finish in the league?

Cheers for the kind words. I tried to make it easy on the eyes.

The team were predicted to finish 4th overall.

Edit: I've just had my first pre-season friendly. Not a bad result for League One's newest team if you ask me.

Well, the 2 AMC's have been on a free role, and the striker was set as target man, using run onto ball.

Furthermore, as I stated in the review, I basically used the same basic formation throughout the season but often changed the instructions regarding how I saw it fit the match.

re: Story Of Your Season

Barcelona Pre Season Review Season Three

Background Info

Okay guys this is my second one of these don't be to harsh
Well this my third season i have to impress as i only got a one year deal. In the previous season i have sold most of the original Barcelona outfit. I had won everything possible in the last two season with Spain and Barcelona.
I hadn't lost a game and had drawn 40.

Previous Stars and Captains

Well my main three stars we Henry bagging over 40 goals a season being name striker of the year both times. Valdes only conceding 35 down back over the two season ans being named goalie of the year to years in a row the higlite fro me was a goal from him. The opposition goalie ran up to try to get a goal from a corner. He grabbed it and bombed it through for a goal. Inesta he has been midfielder of the year two years running. In the first season Henry and Richards were captain in the second Henry and Rooney.

Players

Goalkeepers
Coming into my third season i only had one goalie Valdes so i thought lets spic it up a bit and sign some more goalies. Dean Bouzanis came up from the U/20 squad a star he will being playing in cup games. I signed ustari to play as a sweeping goalkeeper and he will definitely be playing a few game. The final one Ochoa from Mexico he is already a good goalkeeper and leader.

Defenders
I love my Brazilians Rafinha and Marcelo they have ruled the left and right possie for a while. Puyol has been a rock back there but after 6 months i decided to sign a trio of youth that are versatile back there so in came Gerard pique so he can play cm and dm. Richards for the same as pique and he can now push rafinha fro his spot as well. Garay so he can play center and sweeper. Domenic Christico has been in to presure marcelo and puyol on the left hand side of defence. So i my best line up will probly be Marcelo Garay Puyol Rafinha.

Defensive Midfielders
My main has been toure so at the end of season one i decided to sign mascherano on a free. Then in the third season banega the young Argentine captain came into to rule that position.

Midfielders
Now the only midfielders i kept were dos Santos who need more time to improve. Messi Ronaldinho and Inesta have been my main stays in the middle of the park. Wijnaldum and AAritalo were to cheap inclusions to improve in the first season. Mid way through the season i signed aguero who will be playing a more attacking mid role not a striker role and Rooney at season end. Then i got a shock with Alex and lulinha turning up on my doorstep both who spent most of the second season on loan. From what i saw lulinha knows how to bang them in from a distances and Alex is a zippy midfielder. Rossi was my last signing in the midfield he has being La Liga leading scorer twice so in he came.

Strikers
My only striker has really been Henry and cameo roles from Rooney and aguero. So now they will slow phase out Henry.
Rossi has joined just recently so i hope he can play some games during the season and bang them in super sub. Bojan and Mario Balotelli are two young strikers. With second one touted as the new Imbarmvoich. \

In my U/20
There are the likes of sakho saviet saunier and delle
