  SEPTEMBER September has been a brilliant month for both my teams because both where UNBEATEN!!! YES!!! and yeah I'm over it now lol. First game was against Watford who where 2nd in the league table at the time. Formations:  FORMATION: 4-4-2 FINAL SCORE:  we played very well against a team who where 1st. we where so close to beating them. stupid Collins john. our next opponents where Sheffield Wednesday at home. i was expecting a win and the odds where on us. FORMATIONS:  FORMATION: 4-4-2 FINAL SCORE:  we where odds on favourite to win and we won. great performance from Andy Carroll who got the MOM award. our third game of the month was against Blackpool who where in the relegation zone at the time. formations:  FORMATION: 4-4-2 FINAL SCORE:  another very professional performance from the boys. we had nearly triple the shots they had fully deserved there win. second last game of the month was against west brom who where middle of the table with us (at the time) formations:  FORMATION: 4-4-2 FINAL SCORE:  A very close game and not either team deserved to win. our last game of the month was against Ipswich. they where missing a lot of key players due to injury. formations:  FORMATION: 4-4-2 FINAL SCORE:  We where expected to win but not by that much! what a game! Mifsud was magnificent up ford who got 2 and 1 assist. it was a very good month for us. league table:   SEPTEMBER I was nervous about my first game in charge. it was on the 9th of September and Yakubu, our best striker was out. we where playing at the stade national. Here's the formation:  FORMATION:4-4-2 FINAL SCORE:  We where expecting easily beat them and we just did that. a debut goal for Ayila Yussuf who was a 75th minute sub. he headed back to Nigeria, when we got back there where fan's everywhere with Nigerian flags and everything! what a dream come true to be manager of Nigeria. comments? | |

thanks for the good comments, another update up shortly. oh and im not going to be putting up formations anymore for coventry as it takes too long BUT i'll still do it for nigeria

sorry guy's but i was up to typing nigeria and then i went for 2 hours to watch crystal palace v bristol city then i came back and my sister was on here and she lost it!!!

OCTOBER October was an alright month for me and Coventry and Nigeria. 5 games for Coventry and 1 game for Nigeria. let's get this started! our first match of the new month was against Southampton. after our 3-0 win over Ipswich, i would think we would hammer these guys but i would still be happy with a draw or maybe even losing. FORMATION: 4-4-2 FINAL SCORE:  WHAT A GAME! lovely stuff by Mifsud who fully deserved his hat-trick and great performance from Leon Best who also scored a goal. overall, it was a FANTASTIC effort. second game of the month was against Scunthorpe. after the last 2 games, i would think we would hammer them 6-0 but i knew that wouldn't happen. FORMATION:4-4-2 FINAL SCORE:  Was'nt as good as my last 2 games but still it was a good effort. Thank-god for Leon Best! it was 2-1 to us then in the 89th minute Scunthorpe scored and i was like NOOOO!!! and then in injury time Leon Best scored a goal that got us 3 points and him his hat-trick! lovely stuff third game was against Charlton. a win would be great, a draw would be okay and i don't want to lose because we would end our 8 games without losing. FORMATION: 4-4-2 FINAL SCORE:  DAM! because of losing, we have finished our 8 games without losing which sucks! anyway we played alright, with Leon Best getting our only goal. Second last game of the month was against QPR. QPR where top 4 at the time so i knew it would be a hard game. FORMATION: 4-4-2 FINAL SCORE:  it was a hard game, we battled on and played well and didn't deserve to lose. Scott Dann, our young central defender, scored his first ever Coventry goal in this game. Final game of the month was against Hull. Hull where bottom half of the table at the time. FORMATION:4-4-2 FINAL SCORE:  we did well and deserved to win. Mifsud scored 2 goal's which brings his Talley to 11 goals in 12 matches! overall great performance from the boys Overall it was a good month with 3 Win's out of the 5 matches. here's the league table:  oh and here's a few other things:   OCTOBER This month Nigeria where only playing 1 game. It was against Kenya in the African cup of nations group D. the game was held at Abuja stadium. i selected Joseph Yobo as captain for this match. Yakubu was free of injury for the game and was in the starting 11. Formations:  FORMATION:4-4-2 FINAL SCORE:  We dominated from start to finish. great performance all round. Yakubu with 2 goals and Obafemi martins with the other. so we qualified For the African cup of nations. here's the African cup of nation's qualifying group D table and results:    (PS. i wasn't manager for the first 4 games) OTHER NIGERIA NEWS: -Nigeria have Qualified for the 2008 African cup of Nations - Nigeria have been drawn in group C in the African cup of nations. the other 3 teams where DR Congo, morocco and Senegal -Nigeria has been placed in the African world cup qualifying section, in group 5. - the other 5 teams in the group are Benin, CR Congo, Gambia, Rwanda and Senegal. - The Next Match will be a friendly against Australia, Next month as well as another friendly against Mauritius, also next month.
