Liverpool FC - You'll Never Walk Alone |
|
Here's a song about a football team The greatest team you've ever seen A team that play total Football They've won the league, Europe and all. A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May With Kenny Dalglish on the ball He was the greatest of them all And Ian Rush, four goals or two Left Evertonians feeling blue A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May Now if you go down Goodison Way Hard luck stories you hear each day There's not a trophy to be seen 'Cos Liverpool have swept them clean A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May Now on the glorious 10th of May There's laughing reds on Wembley Way We're full of smiles and joy and glee It's Everton 1 and Liverpool 3 A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May Now on the 20th of May We're laughing still on Wembley Way Those Evertonians are feeling blue It's Liverpool 3 and Everton 2 A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May And as we sang round Goodison Park With crying blues all in a nark They're probably crying still at Liverpool 5 and Everton nil. A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May We Remember them with pride Those mighty reds of Shankly's side And Kenny's boys of '88 There's never been a side so great A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May Now back in 1965 When great Bill Shankly was alive We're playing Leeds, the score's 1-1 When it fell to the head of Ian St John A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May On April 15th '89 What should have been a joyous time Ninety six Friends, we all shall miss And all the Kopites want justice (JUSTICE) September Two goals from Fernando Torres secured a win for us a Birmingham, with Peter Crouch rubbing salt into the wound that is birmingham's. We then travelled to Fratton Park to play Pompey, The b*stards injured Masch, but Xabi scored in the 73rd minute to give us a vital three points. Crunch time. Arsenal V Liverpool. The druggy that is Adrian Mutu scored for them in the 23rd minute, but El Nino scored a peach of a goal from 30 yards to equalise. Final result 1-1. We then travelled to Istanbul to play ![]() ![]() We lie 3rd in the table, and next month i hope to beat Chelsea, and then overtake them leaving us a few points behind the scum that are Manchester United. It is a suprise for many too see how well Fulham are doing, as they are supposedly relagation candidates. In the Champions League, i feel if we can beat Schalke next month, we will be certian to qualify. ![]() .:: Manager's player of the month - League Player of the month for September - Fernando Torres ::. I came THIS close to not doing this update, but i felt i should.

On a Saturday afternoon We support a team called Liverpool And we sing until we drop In a red and white Spion Kop We all live in a red and white Kop A red and white Kop A red and white Kop We all live in a red and white Kop A red and white Kop A red and white Kop In a town where I was born Lived a man who sailed the seas And he told me of his pride They were a famous football team So we trailed to Anfield Road, Singing songs of victory And there we found the holy ground, Of our hero Bill Shankly We all live in red and white Kop… October Our month stated with a vital game agianst Schalke in the Champions League. Samir got us off to a great start scoring just four minutes into the game, givng us the lead we needed. Eleven minutes after the break, Fernando smashed one in from long-range, 2-0. However, six minutes after that, Kevin Kurayni pulled one back from them. No need to worry though, as Fernando scored a beauty just eight minutes after. Final result - 3-1. Crunch time. Liverpool V Chelsea. If we lost today, our title hopes might be over. Fortuantly, Fernando got us off to a great start. Fifteen minutes after the kick-off, he curled a free-kick into the top left-hand corner of Petr Cech's goal. 1-0. Seven minutes later, Jamie headed us into a bigger lead with a lovely header. Then Chelsea got a penalty. Drogba clearly dived, but the ref (Steve Bennett) gave it. Anelka scored for them. Crap. Two minutes later, Anelka dived aswell. Not a pen. But the ref gave it. Drogba scored. B*tch. Guess what happended six minutes later? Terry dived in the box. Bennett gave it. FFS. Lampard stepped up to score. 3-2 to them. I brought Peter Crouch on at half time, and in the sixety-second minute, he scored a overhead-kick from twenty yards. Get in there! Eleven minutes later, Xabi scored. Yes! Suck on that Chelsea! *bleep*ers. I could hear the fans singing F Off Chelsea Fc afterwards. Good on them. We were now in second, and we faced a trip to No Pride Park. We smashed the Rams three-nil with goals coming from Petie Crouch (2 goals) and Stevie G. Next up - Marsille. We won 1-0 with a lovely goal from El Nino in the 78th minute to give us the three points we needed. Great result. We faced the Hammers up next. Carlton Cole scored one for them to give them the lead, but Fernando and Andrey gave us the vital three points we wanted out the game, closing the gap on Man U to one point. We faced Arsenal in the 4th round of the league cup next, and Stevie G got us of to a great start by scoring four minutes into the game. Unluckily for us, Fabregas scored a seventy-eigth minute goal to equalise and send it through to extra-time.Then, Dirk scored a peach in the ninety-ninth minute to give us the victory. Oh yeah, i won the Manager of Month by the way. ![]() ![]() ![]() .:: Manager's player of the month - Steven Gerrard ::.

Ste Gerrard, Gerrard Can pass the ball forty yards He's big and he's *bleep*in hard Ste Gerrard, Gerrard November Newcastle camt to Anfield for the first game of the month, and were smashed to pieces by us. Fernando got on just before half-time, scoring another great in the 66th minute by dribbling out on the right wing, cutting inside and smashing on the edge of the 18-yard box. To annoy Kevin Keegan more, Dirk Kuyt scored a simple goal to make it three-nil. We had basiccly qualified for the knock-out round of the Champions League before this game, but if we won, it was offical. Xabi got us of to a great strat by scoring thrity seconds into the game. Yossi addded another in the 38th minute and the lads were playing absoultly amazingly. In the 70th minute, Stevie got past Taye Taiwo and crossed the ball into the Marseille six-yard box. It was headed out, but it fell to Ryan. Bang. 3-0. Fourteen min utes later Xabi picked out Fernando with a killer ball through, leaving him one on one with the keeper. El Nino wouldn't miss from there. Mamadou Niang pulled one back for them in the eighty-seventh minute, but it was over already. However, Fernando got another deep into extra time. Final result 5-1. Next up, we travelled to the Staduim of Light to play Sunderland. Dirk got us one early on in the second half, with Fernando scoring just 5 minutes later with a penalty. Dirk got another for us, and then Ian Harte pulled one back for Sunderland making the score 3-1. We really needed to beat Man U (who we were facing next) and Fernando got us of to a absoulutely amazing start scoring two goals inside the space of eight minutes. Yes! Rooney scored a flukey goal for Man U, and in the 87th minute, Louis Saha scored a late equaliser. *bleep*. But that wasan't the end of the drama. In the 4th minute of added time, Micheal Carrick tried to attempt a overhead clearence and ended up scoring a own goal. Yes!. Take that you Manc's. We were top of the table as we prepared to face Bestikas, and when we did play them, we won four-nil, with goals coming from Stevie G (a pen) , Peter Crouch, Samir and Yossi. ![]() .:: Manager's player of the month - Pepe Reina ::.
