	[ Mortal Kombat: Deception Rules ] You'll most likely know by now that I'm the moderator for this forum. And although I also enjoy a good laugh, rules have to be enforced. And you have to follow them. I will be fair to all the members, and won't hand bans out left and right. I'll most likely try and talk to you about it, and you'll get away with a warning. But depending on the case, that might not happen. And if you repeatedly break the rules, I'll be forced to hand out a ban. With that said, I'll proceed with the rules. Before you do this though, I would like to point out to you the Forum Wide Rules, which you should read before this if you haven't already. ___________________________________________________ "Trying to get around a ban using secondary/additional member accounts will result in a permanent banishment of all binding accounts from which you have created." -- Forum Wide Rules ___________________________________________________ Spamming:- I'm pretty sure you all know what spamming is, and it won't be tolerated inside this forum. For those unsure as to what this means, it's basically posting the forum with short and sometimes off-topic messages, or they're posting some random posts which are off-topic and very annoying. There's no point in it, and you'll end up with a warning at the minimum. Flaming:- Insults from members directed at others are not only unacceptable here, but it can also hurt the person involved. Or it could make them feel the need to retaliate. I don't care if he started it, just don't act back. Simply report the post which is flaming someone. And I'll deal with it soon enough. Don't do it in the first place though, it does you no favours.. Memberating:- First of all, I'd like to point out that I'm the moderator here, not you. So please don't act like one. That's basically what memberating is, and no one likes it. This includes Requesting Thread Closure and telling others what to do (to a certain extent). However, I will allow links to be posted if there's a duplicated thread, it makes my job a little easier. Be nice about it though. I don't want you making someone feel stupid because they made a duplicate thread, everyone makes mistakes. Advertising:- You know what advertising is, right? Basically, I don't want you to post a link to your forums or your websites. That's what the Profile, Custom Title, Signature and NeoHome is for. I'm not trying to be mean about this, but it applies to all the forums on Neoseeker. It's not allowed, nor will it stay there after being posted. I will edit your posts and remove the link(s). I also feel it is my duty to warn you all members linking to outwar.com any other type of referral site will lose posting rights on their account permanently. Which is also in the Forumwide Rules. Double Posting:- This isn't always double posting, but more than one in a row anyway. I only want to see this happening if you absolutely need to post once again. If you're desperate to post some new information, but the thread you want to post in is at the top of the forum and you're the last member to reply, then just simply edit it. However, if you have to go past a few pages to find the thread only to realise you were the last to post, just make a new post. I may merge them together after someone else replies though. Bans:- I'll try not to ban many people, but if they have to be handed a ban then I will do so. Please stick with it though, don't bypass the ban by posting as a guest, on a new account, or on one of your previous accounts. I can find out who you are, so don't think you can get away with it. Bypassing a ban is a serious offence, and a super-moderator may have to be contacted. Duplicated Threads:- The search feature is currently inactive at the moment, however please check the index to see if a thread is already made, before creating one of your own. I will close the duplicates, and no punishment will be handed out. However if you continually do it with threads listed in the Thread Index after a few warnings, you'll be taking a short leave from the forum. It's a minor offence, but I want all the rules obeyed. Cursing:- This basically falls under the flaming category. I don't want to see any swearing in the forum, although I will allow the odd curse word providing it looks like this if it's on Neoseeker's filter: bleep. However, some younger members may visit the forum from time to time, and I'm sure they'd appreciate it if the bad language was cut down to a minimum. Warez, ROMs, Emulators etc:- Discussion on the above is not allowed here. If you're wanting a Mortal Kombat ROM for the SNES or any other console (which would also fall under spam, as this isn't really related to Mortal Kombat: Deception), then I suggest you go elsewhere, it's not allowed on neoseeker. It's recommended that you buy your software legally anyway. If a member has broken a rule or is on a spamming rampage, then please use the link below to NeoPM me straight away. If I'm not online and it's a very serious offence then contact either the Section Moderators or a Super Moderator. Always check if I'm online or not beforehand though. It has to be serious as well, I don't want to bother them with petty things like one spam post or a duplicated thread. Just report it please. 	Just follow all the rules, and your username will not appear on this list. This is the "Ban List" which will show all the bans I've made throughout my time moderating this forum, or any other moderators after me.
