Maybe Tuchscherer should've gone on TUF after all, or taken the DQ win.
And here are the reported fighter payouts from UFC 102 as revealed by the Oregon State Athletic Commission, as always these include the win bonuses but not the usual other bonuses, sponsor money, etc.: Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira ($400,000) beat Randy Couture ($250,000) Thiago Silva ($58,000) beat Keith Jardine ($55,000) Jake Rosholt ($26,000) beat Chris Leben ($30,000) Nate Marquardt ($80,000) beat Demian Maia ($28,000) Brandon Vera ($70,000) beat Krzyzstof Soszynski ($8,000) Aaron Simpson ($18,000) beat Ed Herman ($24,000) Gabriel Gonzaga ($120,000) beat Chris Tuchscherer ($10,000) Mike Russow ($20,000) beat Justin McCully ($15,000) Todd Duffee ($10,000) beat Tim Hague ($7,000) Mark Munoz ($24,000) beat Nick Catone ($5,000) Evan Dunham ($14,000) beat Marcus Aurelio ($13,000) Total disclosed payouts: $1,285,000 ------------------- My Blog-Sports, MMA, Girls, Etc.

quote TwilightPrinceOh man I just watched this, that was brutal. Tuscherer showed some serious balls coming out after that (pardon the pun) and a terrible refereeing job to boot. Gonzaga's really the HW gatekeeper now - He has no trouble beating the shit out of lower tier comp. but apart from Cro Cop, when it comes to contenders and title holders, he folds. I'd love to see him in there with Mir ------------------- Living brain, what kind of dork wants that?...With any luck, the kind of dork who'll be operating on your prostate someday! | |

And here are the medical suspensions from UFC 102 as handed down by the Oregon State Athletic Commission:
Everyone is suspended 7 days except these fighters, who get longer suspensions: Randy Couture is suspended 30 days. Precautionary reasons. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira is suspended 30 days. Precautionary reasions. Keith Jardine is suspended 30 days. KO'd. Chris Leben is suspended 30 days. Must hace CT scan of facial bones to rule out fracture. Demian Maia is suspended 21 days. KO'd. Krzyzstof Soszynski is suspended 30 days. Cut. Ed Herman is suspended indefinitely. Left knee injury. Referred to doctor for MRI. Chris Tuchscherer is suspended 45 days. Cut. Justin McCully is suspended 30 days. Referred to emergency room for evaluation of left eye. Tim Hague is suspended 60 days. KO'd. Mark Munoz is suspended 30 days. Right elbow sprain. Marcus Aurelio is suspended 14 days. Precautionary reasons. And there's no guarantee this happens, but veteran referee John McCarthy could return to UFC at UFC 104. McCarthy is licensed to referee in California and the CSAC could assign him to the event (assignments have not yet been made) but said it doesn't necessarily mean he will be. But it's a possibility and Big John says he'll be there if assigned to the event. He can also ref in Ohio, Missouri, Utah and Oklahoma but not Nevada. quote WillFrank got a lot of shit for this online, but it's a pretty good and honest interview. I'd be pissed too if my victory over a legend like Nogueira was downplayed the way it was. While I dislike how he talks shit prior to fighting, what he usually has to say about fights afterwards, or in cases like, he tells it like it is and is generally truthful. I mean he made no excuses about losing to Brock, only that he knows now where he needs to train when their paths might cross again. Like what he said about Fedor and how he doesn't need to prove anything.

Here's a fun rumored addition to UFC 106: Amir Sadollah vs. Phil Jabroni. Bout agreements have not been signed, but verbal agreements were secured in the past week. There's been talk lately about who the first TUF winner to get cut might be...could be Amir if he loses this one.

He's cursed, plain and simple. And if he loses to Jabroni, I can't see him lasting. His picture will be in the dictionary next to fluke. And to think CB Dollaway might be in the same predicament if he loses to Miller...might as well just call TUF 7 cursed.
Sean Sherk is now off UFC 104 due to a shoulder injury. He was to have faced Gleison (Graison) Tibau. Josh Neer is the replacement. ------------------- My Blog-Sports, MMA, Girls, Etc.

Do you have a shit name for every fighter? I thought you was a journo 0_0? Anyway, whatever happens to him has nothing to do with winning TUF. He beat the favourite twice so him winning it will never go down as a fluke IMO. I can only see him being cut if he gets dominated in his next fight.
