Huerta's supposedly leaving after this fight, so he won't be getting any title shots and even with a win, I would rank Frankie Edgar ahead of Gray, even though Gray beat him. Frankie's beaten more quality opponents...Maybe Frankie can fight the winner of the Florian/Guida match, assuming it happens.

i only thought gray was ahead of frankie for a title shot because gray is 7-0-1 and he beat frankie but frank does have wins over good fighters such as griffin fisher franca and sherk. i would like to see someone knock bj the f out. hopefully sanchez does that.
any news on who little nog will be fighting? and any news on the other big name ment to be fighting in manchester england at 105? i read that the sanchez and penn fight was moved from 105 because anderson silva was going to fight but now he has obviously pulled out.

Yeah, outside of Frankie Edgar himself, Gray hasn't beaten any real top competition and Frankie's last win over Sherk was huge to go along with the other names you mentioned. I haven't read anything on Rogerio, but I really do think it's gonna be Luiz Cane.

UFC 103 update: With Paul Daley now moving up to face Martin Kampmann instead of Brian Foster, the replacement for Daley against Foster may be Rick Story. He's verbally agreed to the fight, paperwork pending.

UFC 105 was officially announced today: November 14 at MEN Arena in Manchester, England. TV-wise, it'll be live in England on ESPN, tape-delayed on Spike in the US. Announced matches today were Michael Bisping vs. Denis "Liu" Kang and Dan Hardy vs. Dong Hyun Kim, but no main event announced. That will be at a later date. Still some rumors it'll involve Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Tickets go on sale Thursday for Fight Club members, Saturday for Newsletter subscribers, Monday for everyone else.

Rashad's confirmed the status of his 107 fight with Rampage today: Off. During an appearance today on "IT'S TIME!!!", Bruce Buffer's Sherdog radio show (listen to it, awesome show. Usually airs Tuesdays at 5 PM ET), Evans said the fight won't happen until next year. When probably depends on how long filming takes and don't forget Rampage still has sentencing at some point next year, and even if he stayed clean there's no guarantee he avoids jail (worst-case is probably 2-3 years).

Well so far they've been very selective with whom they put in. You either have to be a legend (Royce, Ken Shamrock) or the best of the best (Chuck) and I would have thought that if he were to go in, it would have been done already. If Evan were alive, would you consider him a future hall of famer?
