UFC 105 isn't for 2 months or something, they'll sort a few big names out by then no doubt. Plus, the cards without the "big names" are usually the more exciting cards with lots of finishes. I'd watch and get excited about the 105 card now if it was final. Lots of UK guys, too.

It appears the year-end big show actually won't be until next year. The NSAC has tentatively approved a UFC date for January 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Vegas, thich presumably will be UFC 108.

Weekly says verbal agreements are in place, presumably it's at 205. This means UFC won't make much money off the show, Couture's probably getting getting his usual $250-500K for this fight. Mania also quotes The Sun as saying Rashad Evans turned down a Couture fight here. Hatin'!

9/16 edit: It was revealed yesterday that the Antonio Rogerio Nogueira signing by UFC is now official. Terms not disclosed. First fight not confirmed but still expected to be UFC 106 vs. Luis Cane.

Seth Petruzelli back in the UFC? Pretty much guarantees that Kimbo will have a 1-3 fight deal after TUF. A fight with a TUF guy at the finale likely and probably a rematch with Petruzelli. That's the only reason the UFC would sign Petruzelli IMO.

Anyway, can't wait until Saturday. Dos Santos/Cro Cop, Koscheck/Trigg, and Franklin/Belfort should all be good. Also the free prelims are an added bonus!
