Sobotta has been pulled due to military commitments. Johnson will now appear on a future card. Edit: It probably will be 107 against Edgar Garcia. Also out are reports that the Lesnar-Carwin winner is defending next/first in early 2010 (first 3 months perhaps) against Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Not a bad second option for Big Nog considering he wanted the Frank Mir rematch next and isn't getting it. 	Adding on to Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort at 108, it's another Silva! quote 411mania.com According to MMAJunkie.com, Rashad Evans (13-1-1 MMA, 8-1-1 UFC) and Thiago Silva (14-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) have verbally agreed to face in the co-main event of UFC 108. There have been rumors of the bout since Jackson backed out of the original bout with Evans, and now the bout agreements for Evans vs. Silva should be finalized shortly. UFC 108 is expected to take place January 2nd from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Since Machida was unable to knock that smug smile off of Evans' stupid face, hopefully Thaigo Silva does. -------------------

	Personally i think its a bad fight for both of them, can either of them afford another defeat? If Evans loses again then thats two defeats on the trot, and if Silva loses then thats two defeats in three fights, i no before there defeats they were both on to big win streaks but alot of people seem to forget that. 	It's a perfect fight now that Rampage has gone. Who's gonna fight the winner of Machida vs. Rua? Either Rashad or Silva would have been my bet so they may as well make them fight to make it official. Only other reason why I wouldn't see one of them get the next shot is if Rua wins and Silva fights him, Couture is given another token title shot if he beats Vera, Vera destroys Couture with a superman 360 back-flip flying knee, or if Nog destroys Cane. Good match IMO.

You don't have to set fighters up against jobbers in order to get them popular with fans again. One of them can lose and still come out looking good as long as they make it a good fight, since they're up against top of the line opponents in each other. -------------------

	I thought of Griffin before Franklin, but Griffin has already faced and beaten him before. Was thinking a new fight for Tito would be better, but I wouldn't be opposed to Griffin getting back on the right track by beating Ortiz again. Hell, I just want anyone to beat Tito. It's a great feeling to see him lose -------------------

TV.com has the synopsis of this Sunday's episode, which is titled "The Great Wife Hope": "When the male population of Springfield becomes obsessed with Mixed Martial Arts, Marge and some friends organize a protest. A MMA show promoter gets wind of Marge's protest and challenges her to a match and agrees to shut down the show if Marge wins." Believe it or not, that's exactly how Lina Kvokov got booked to fight Kim Couture last year. No word yet if the promoter will be a thinly-veiled Dana White-parody, but FiveOuncesofPain hears that Dancing With the Stars's Chuck Liddell will make a cameo in the episode, hopefully to tell Marge that she's an killjoy idiot who should find something else to protest, before having sex with her in a nightclub bathroom. So do any of you still watch this show? Is Maggie talking yet? Did Burns and Smithers ever consummate their relationship? I will try to watch because I don't watch The Simpsons enough. According to Iole the fight has been confirmed by UFC President Dana White. Griffin is stepping in on short notice to replace Mark Coleman, who pulled out of the fight earlier this week. The fight will be a rematch from UFC 59, where Ortiz edged out a split decision win over Griffin. UFC 106 airs live on PPV on November 21st. Let's go Run Forrest Run Griffin! -------------------
