Doesn't matter to me, I'm psyched because rumors are they're coming to the Washington DC area in January for a UFN.
In other news, another Gracie is on his way to UFC-Rolles Gracie. Rolles, Rolls' son (Rolls was Master Helio's nephew) is currently 3-0 career. He debuted in the IFL in '07 but didn't fight for nearly 2 years after his first fight. He returned to action this year winning in Art Of War (China) in May and September. He's expected to make his UFC debut at UFC 109 in February vs. Mustapha al-Turk. No date set but probably February 6. ------------------- My Blog-Sports, MMA, Girls, Etc.

UFC did it today-counterprogramming for against SF on 11/7 was just revealed: A special on Spike called "UFC Main Events". Spike will air these 4 fights: Randy Couture vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (102), Vitor Belfort vs. Rich Franklin (103), Forrest Griffin vs. Anderson Silva (103) and BJ Penn vs. Kenny Florian (101). Now you know-hopefully when there's a break on SF you can flip over and see Forrest Run!

quote The OmegaTo be fair, the BJ Penn fight was also a good fight. However, the Vitor and Silva fights were both hellacious beatdowns. quote DCRageYES! They better do this for most PPVs. I really want to see Bader fight too. quote DCRageI could see this fight going exactly the way Carwin/Gonzaga went, but this time, Gonzaga won't land a punch. -------------------

The only reason I won't watch besides not currently having cable is I've seen 3 of the 4 fights already. I don't mind seeing "Run Forrest Run!" again but this time I'll pass in favor of SF. (only one of the 4 I haven't yet seen is Nog-Couture)

You must like it otherwise you wouldn't be talking about it.
Speaking of which, Jon Fitch says his 106 fight with Ricardo Almeida is now off. Almeida knee injury. Fitch will fight at a later date against "a huge opponent". He can't say who yet. ------------------- My Blog-Sports, MMA, Girls, Etc.

UFC 95: Sanchez vs. Stevenson, is on SpikeTV tonight at 9:30pm-12:30am (US Eastern). I don't think I ever saw this PPV, and I can't remember if it was any good, as the other fights mentioned in the TV listings aren't ones I remember (Dan Hardy vs. Rory Markham, Demian Maia vs. Chael Sonnen). I'll be watching it regardless. I love free PPV's, even if it aired a long time ago.

UFC 95 was originally free on Spike, it aired back in February.
There were some great fights on this card, Nate Marquardt vs Wilson Gouveia being the highlight for me. That fight was amazing. Diego vs Joe Daddy was also intense. There were great knockouts as well. (Hardy vs Markham, Koscheck vs Thiago, Dos Santos vs Struve) And of course, great submissions. (Demain Maia vs Chael Sonnen) -------------------

Ah sweet. I didn't have cable back when this aired, so I missed it. Is this the Markham fight where he was stunned and then unloaded an epic knockout head kick?
Nope, start of this show they showed that big knockout kick, so that was a previous fight. This message was edited by The Omega on Oct 23 2009. ------------------- ![]() ![]()

Here are the result from the UFC 104 weigh-ins:
Josh Neer, Gleison (Graison) Tibau and Anthony Johnson have all missed weight. Neer-Tibau is now catch weight per fighter agreements. Johnson apparently knew he wouldn't make weight, his fight is now catch weight but expect a fine. Joe Stevenson initially missed weight, but he took off his shorts and made it. Ryoto (Lyoto) Machida (202.5) vs. Mauricio Rua (204.5) Ben Rothwell (265) vs. Cain Velasquez (238) Josh Neer (156.5) vs. Gleison (Graison) Tibau (157) Spencer Fisher (155) vs. Joe Stevenson (155.5) Anthony Johnson (176) vs. Yoshiyuki Yoshida (170) Ryan Bader (205) vs. Red (Eric) Schafer (205.5) Patrick Barry (237) vs. Antoni Hardonk (249.5) Yushin Okami (185) vs. Chael Sonnen (185) Rob Kimmons (185) vs. Jorge Rivera (185) Razak Al-Hassan (204.5) vs. Kyle Kingsbury (205.5) Stefan Struve (243.5) vs. Chase Gormley (262) ------------------- My Blog-Sports, MMA, Girls, Etc.
