Game Informer has, on both it's website and in the most recent magazine, the release date set as 10/07/08 for US. I know they've made errors in the magazine before, but shouldn't someone have caught it on the website? What gives?

I can't see why they'd have a different release date. Either they are out of the loop or they have information we don't.

That's what I'm thinking. They're generally never out of the loop, they're pretty well informed as far as Bethesda goes, they also had the best written preview article last summer on the game. I don't know if they've got a typo, an old date, or some secret info. But it strikes me as odd that, 3 days from the release that they've got posted, there's been no announcement that the date's been changed.

For some reason, nobody has updated it, that is all.

To me, that site doesn't seem to be 'all that'. Another site that doesn't really pay attention to keeping stuff updated.

And Fallout is 99% sure to come out on the 28th. Even the trailers say so (the main reason for my guess at 99%).
