The Casino: Does The House Cheat? |
|
Quest as per subject. The monster arena seems to nearly always turn into a gang up on the monster with the best odds... unless, of course, I bet against him. Then the outcome seems genuinely random.
As for the poker table, the cards feel like they fall funny. I'm going to have to do a probability study once I get a LOT of extra casino tokens (as in, I manage to fill the book or whatever you have to do to get the bonus), and I can afford to lose deliberately (see as many cards dealt as possible). But my current assessment: The dealer is stacking the deck for drama from time to time.

As with all real casinos, THE GAMES ARE RIGGED! Square Enix just used a probability to dictate the payout. Your bast bet is probably to buy as many tokens as possible, save, and bet big on any one thing. If you do not win, it is as simple as reloading.
Also after completing and looking at everything in the beastiary you get 30,000 tokens! This message was edited by Jacen4789 on Apr 03 2009. ------------------- Opinions are like noses, everyone has one, but you can't pick someone else's.
