Really loved the movie but they did something very STUPID!!! One of the biggest Holly Wood Mistakes I have ever caught!!

There is a part in the movie where Will Smith is firing his M-16 Fires out all his bullets and when the gun is empty it continues to click in full automatic mode!!

Any Gun Owner or anyone who has ever shot, Owned or knows just a little bit about the AR-15 Or M-16 Or any automatic Fire arm for that matter, Knows a real Fire arm DOES NOT Continue to click in full auto after it runs out of bullets! The reason being is every automatic fire arm uses Gas recoil to *bleep* and refire the hammer. So without a bullet it would not be at all possible for the firing pin to continue to discharge. When Will Smith continues to hold the trigger and you hear the gun continue to click in full automatic it is then Obvious that it is a BLANK Gun. Because PaintBall Guns, AirSoft Guns and Blank firing Guns use an electric Motor to recock the firing pin so if you run out of BLANKS the gun will continue clicking.

So as much as I loved the movie I have to say that sure ruins it for me to have the star and producer make is quite obvious that he is using a Blank or AirSoft gun. I mean how stupid is that? To spend millions of dollars and let such an ignorant mistake slip?? I mean I could have done better my self and all you would have had to pay me is about 100 thousand!!

I have to say that is one of the most Stupid idiotic, Ignorant hollywood mistakes I have EVER seen in my entire life!! I mean sure we are all use to a 30 round clip firing about 400 rounds before he changes the clip we all know that is just Hollywood. But come on.. Making it flat out obvious that it is not a real gun.. I sure would like to know who is responsible for letting that one slip!! And Ide like to ask him if he has any clue the simple mechanics of an automatic fire arm?

Every semi and fully automatic fire arm in the world uses gas recoil to recock the firing pin so it just is not possible for a gun to click,click,click,click after it runs out of ammo!!


I mean I would have at least expected Will Smith to catch that one.. How many stupid No-Brainers worked on that film anyway?? I mean damn!! I would have done a better job directing stunts for a lot cheaper and at least made it half way believable that it was a real fire arm!!


Please do a better job next time Perhaps a trip or two to the firing range!!! Playing with your kids airsoft does not do the trick pal

I cant even say it was a good try because I was pretty discussed the second I heard that gun continue to click!! Had I gone to the movies and paid to see it I would have wanted a refund!! In fact I would have demanded a refund!! Good thing I waited to see it on HBO!!!
