Curious as to what some of you got. I received the Gold Proton pack since I purchased the game at Walmart. Heard through Gamestop and Bestbuy they each have separate DLC as well with a Ghoul and GB2 Jumpsuit.

I bought it at Walmart and didn't get shit! What's up with that?

Was there anything advertising on the front of your box? My cover has "Exclusive: Downloadable Proton Pack (while supplies last)" on the cover itself. Then inside was the redeem code sheet of paper. Maybe they had sold out of their limited copies, or grabbed one that didn't have it with one of the DLC copies sitting right behind it in their game case. Now that would have pissed me off had I not payed attention. Now if your case has that logo, but no redeem code inside, not sure what to tell you other than to go to atarisupport.com and troubleshoot from there with their customer support.

The Gold Proton Pack isn't anything special, just looks like a normal Proton Pack albeit gold. haha. The different costumes though would be cool to have. Heard a rumor that all these "exclusives" will be available eventually on Marketplace anyways. If they release them all in one package for under $5, I'd probably buy it.

I know you had to pre-order the game through Gamestop in order to receive any kind of content. I didn't pre-order, and when I went in to buy it the guy gave me a copy that had already been opened (no shrink wrap). I asked why, and he said that the copy had some kind of code in it but it was only for pre-orders, and they'd removed the code from my copy of the game before putting it on the shelf. So I kind of got the shaft.

Bullshit. Those *bleep*ers probably took the code for themselves. I don't see why people still buy stuff from Gamestop. They rip people off plus most of the employees are naive-know-it-alls.

Last time I went in a Gamestop was a few weeks prior to Gears Of War 2 coming out and I asked a simple question about the game and the guy got all holier-than-thou on me. I told him to cut the act and to *bleep* off. Last time I went in there.

They take trades, and I have one of those Edge cards, so it makes sense in a money-saving way. I'm not big on the extra content anyway.

i do most of my game purchases and such at gamestop, that not being the point, i got the GB2 jumpsuit, or as they call it a flightsuit...i downloaded it and turned it on but i didnt see any difference in career mode, is it for online only or something?

opps. clicked to fast. yeah, the people at gamestop suck! i try not to buy anything from there unless i can get it used. they are rude and think they know more then anyone. i dont even talk to them anymore, and NEVER buy anything new. it will look(and most likely is) used. some display case all beat up with what they say is a new CD for $60. i dont think so! make your own of this store but i think they suck! oh, and yeah, i got mine at ToysRus and i didnt get any DLC with my game ether, and im a pissed to.

Best Buy is where I do my shopping.

Got the Mayor/Ghoul Ghostbuster, which replaces "the rookie". The mayor is the mayor in the game, and the ghoul is the Grave Robbing Ghoul in the game.

I have to disagree with you about the gamestop issue. I have always done my shopping there and every game I have bought new or used has been in fantastic shape. Not to mention, if there is a defective disc or it doesn't work you can take it back for store credit within 7 days. Every time I have gone in they have been really nice. I think it is your fault if you spend $60 on a beat up display box with a (DVD and not CD --> games are on DVDs and Blu-Ray now). Now the one thing I do not like about gamestop is the trade in value for the games. They buy games or give you trade in value that is so low. I don't like the trade in value or how much they offer for games so I put mine on Ebay or Craig's list. I just think that all gamestops are different and we shouldn't generalize a store based on a couple of experiences. Oh and no, I don't work there.

How does one go into Walmart and not get shit? Even in general, I thought all they sold there was "crap" that was made in China, rofl, j/k!

The DLC stuff sounds cool; wish they had a way of getting it besides just the pre-order... guess I can't complain too much though; since my girlfriend got this for me for Christmas on Ebay for $5... the disc is in perfect condition too, no scratches... case, book, etc. Q:)
