Professional: Tips & Strategies |
|
Playing on Professional, I have to say this is quite the challenge, annoying at times, but still fun. Anyone have certain tips. The part when you're walking in the city streets and end up fighting the fat ladies gave me quite a struggle as my teammates would constantly get knocked down as well as a ghost knocking me down from behind.
Now I'm at the museum, trying to earn my Nice Shootin' Tex achievement. I'm under 10,000 as it is, so if I can get passed this stage with under 30,000... I'll be set as the final two levels don't count towards your overall total damage. The collector was also a bitch to get passed too. Teammates were always on the ground. Spent so much time going back and forth to pick them up only to keep getting knocked down myself in the process. A good tip, any ghost you can not capture, use the stasis to freeze them and blow them up. Never used it on casual but it's a big help on Professional for enemies that take a lot of damage with a proton pack. Been a life saver to not only get passed those fights, but also from not dealing any destructive damage to the environment. Edit: LMAO. I was at the infamous Civil War exhibit, dealt out absolutely NO damage whatsoever, was down to the final ghost when *bam* hit something off in the distant and earned a whopping 20,000 extra in damage rounding my score to 30,000. *bleep*. I quit to the dashboard because now I know it's possible to do little to no damage on that part on professional. Edit 2: I DID IT! haha. Only got about 200 in damage, which I will gladly take. Figured by luck I'd get at least over a thousand, but being in the hundreds with all that valuable stuff to destroy, 200 is a great score. This achievement is practically mine now. I AM THE BEST!
Just beat Professional and got "Nice Shootin', Tex!" achievement. And to think people said it would be difficult. I only managed to do a little over $13,000 in damage. All it took was some patience and a steady aim. Hardest parts weren't even where I thought they'd be. Trouble I had were in two areas: in front of the theater with the flying fat ladies and when the unbreakable gate is blocking you and the rest of the team and you get bombarded by those flying statues of cupid. Oh, and the Collector boss at the library was a bitch two. Make that three parts that were a pain in the ass. Rest of the game was a breeze. | |
